If you were talking about Adonis, people have high expectations for him in his Sophomore season. He's supposed to carry their offense now after some of their scorers left in this year's draft.

2013 Mock Draft | NBADraft.net

Here's a VERY early mock, which has him going 13th to the Suns. I never follow mock drafts (mainly because you don't know who is going where after number 1), but they still give you a good idea of what range you can expect each player to be in.

I didn't say anything about Adonis Thomas in my post. Not sure why you replied to me.

Adonis would have to be out of the top 7 for us to get him. I really think we are picking anywhere between 8 and 15.

I thought you were talking about him being out of the lottery, you didn't quote anyone and my post was above yours. My mistake, sorry.

I've noticed his strength in the post, that's about it. What have you noticed?

Pretty good finisher, really good size and build for the position and okay shooting but needs to have more consistency from deep. I don't get many big 12 games but the few I've seen with him I've liked. He's one of my favorite prospects this year. Furthermore, this season is vital for his development; he did in fact make a wise decision to stay for his sophomore season though. Def need to see a lot more of him.

Excited to see if he improves. Ohio State's LaQuinton Ross is also a player that was at the top of his class when he was in his early high school years. He's got great size and is supposed to be a great shooter as well as having solid athleticism. We'll see where his work ethic is when we find whether or not he can crack the starting lineup at OSU. If he does, then he's got a chance to open a lot eyes.

I would love either Alex Poythress or Adonis Thomas. Adonis needs to work a bit on offense, but Alex is a great scorer.

Yeah those are the two guys I'm hoping the Cavs are looking at. It wouldn't surprise me if the Cavs find their future SF in this next draft that's considered the draft of the "center".

Thats exactly what i think they are going to do. TZ will be our 6th man i think is we dont trade andy.

We have what? 3 picks? We could trade up using andy. Even though trades are less likely in the NBA draft

2 for sure. Only 3 if sac makes great strides (top 14 protected?). not likely

None of those teams are better than us if we get Bynum, and I'm not convinced that Toronto is without Bynum.

First off, we're not getting Bynum. That's a complete pipe dream. Second, the only player at any position that is better on our team than theirs is Kyrie. Derozan is better than any of our guards, Jonas hasn't even played a game in te NBA but he's probably better than All forwards except Andy and Bargniani is better as well. Plus, they got Lowry and Terence Ross (who I think is going to be pretty solid).

So their starting 5 is probably

Lowry
Derozan
Ross
Jonas V
Bargniani

vs ours

Kyrie
Waiters (maybe)
Gee
Thompson
Varejao

I think they have a better team.

Yeah which is unlikely. maybe if we are 8th to 12th we could trade picks and andy to go in the top 5 to grab someone like Poythress or Adonis Thomas

Jonas V could in no way play the 4, he is only a center. Also, having someone like Zeller allows Andy to play at his natural position at 4, so I wouldn't be shocked to see games where TT comes off the bench and Zeller and Andy are at the 5,4 positions respectively.

No. We have 4 for sure, 5 if Sacramento finishes outside of the Top 13.

I was refering to 1st rounders. Also, speaking of pipe dreams.... please dont expect to trade lower 1str rounders along with a mid 1st rounder to get into the top 4 or 5 in a shallow draft... the chances of getting Bynum are actually way more realistic then that Mary Popin tale.
