I was refering to 1st rounders. Also, speaking of pipe dreams.... please dont expect to trade lower 1str rounders along with a mid 1st rounder to get into the top 4 or 5 in a shallow draft... the chances of getting Bynum are actually way more realistic then that Mary Popin tale.

My mistake. I thought you were referring to overall picks.

And... what? I don't think I even mentioned anything about moving up..?

not you.. but others always bring this up on rcf not realizing trading into the top 4 is very difficult to pull off. We could not even get from 4 to 2 and had an extra 1st and two high seconds last year

Is it just me or does Kyle Anderson look like he's in slow motion when he plays?

i really hope we can finish within the top 6 and get lucky again in the lottery. I think getting zeller, mcadoo, or muhammad would be vital in our rebuilding. I would lean towards muhammad as he can play sf and has a tireless work ethic. Getting muhammad would give us 3 players (kyrie and dwait) that can create and get there own shot, that would make our offense hard to stop. Gettinf mcadoo or zeller would give us a great big man rotation as both can run the floor and stretch defenses. As long as we get a top 4 pick we would be good.

Muhammad might not be able to play in the NCAA this season because he may have taking money during his recruiting, so I wonder if he'll pull a Brandon Jennings and head to Europe for a year

Or we can get Poythress or someone like lebryan nash if were at #6 but im thinkin poythress. On Mcadoo, Hes 6'9" so i think he'll be a kevin durant like body at SF with a bit more build but smaller arms

i like nash as well but he is a chucker and has no range (better shooter than mkg though). hopefully he improves his shoot selection cause he has immense talent and the making of a great dfensive player he gets compared to artest alot.

LaQuinton Ross is a dude to keep an eye out for if he cracks the starting lineup at OSU this coming season and does what he's capable of doing. I mention him because he's also a SF prospect.

And can Shabazz actually be ineligible for the season for taking some money? Not just a small suspension or something?

Keep an eye on some NCSU players-Brown PG 1st round projected-good size and can score. C J LLeslie SF super athletic 1st round projected. Pervis-Freshman SG-may go to europe to play if ineligible, Warren-SF Freshman-star of the team on Spanish tour this summer.

I didnt know that about nash. I just know about his great talent. now i want poythress or mcadoo. in todays NBA you either need a stud SF or a defensive mastermind there. Thats where most of the good teams are. LBJ KD Granger Metta, nuggets with iggy now

here are some scouting reports and a game of him. He is a defensive player with great body at 6'7-230

NBADRAFT:
NBA Comparison: Ron Artest
Strengths: Possesses a pro body, NBA athleticism, a real ability to score the basketball ... Nash, quite frankly, looks like a man amongst boys when competing against high school kids ... Has a wide variety of offensive arsenal including an explosive 1st step, keen ability to attack the basket at will, and shooting range that extends out to NBA 3 point range ... Nash knows how to let the game come to him, really using his physical gifts to dominate his competition, especially in the post ... Has the ability to create for others off the bounce ... Finishes around the rim with finesse when needed, but prefers strong powerful dunks ...

Weaknesses: The comparisons to Artest run deeper than the physical resemblance and style of play, Nash has developed a reputation for being a little bit of a headcase ... College should be a great experience for him and staying more than a year would likely benefit his long term potential ... Displays poor body language at times when team is ineffective. Maturity/Attitude has been questioned and could be an issue that needs to be addressed in order to maximize potential ... Tends to take plays off at times especially when the game isn't going his way ... Seems as if high school basketball doesn't interest him as much other players as Nash is already 19 and looking forward to college and beyond ... Doesn't utilize his strength advantage enough and some have questioned his toughness and willingness to seek physical contact ...

Overall: Nash is a phenomenal talent and has a pro body. His skill set should translate well in Travis Ford's offense ... While his game could stand to grow from a year or 2 of maturity, I don't think his stay in college will be a very long given his work ethic and toughness ... NBA scouts already love his frame and toughness and with some polishing he could easily be an effective player in the NBA before long ...

NBA draft room:
Explosive jumper who is very powerful when taking the ball to the rim. Very strong player who has the potential to be a really good defender and rebounder once he puts his mind to it. Doesn't have a picture perfect jump shot but gets good elevation and hits at a high rate.

Cavs have 8 new players on roster of 18-pargo, azubuike, miles, leuer, jomes(r). Eric(r), zeller(r), waiters(r). So what was all this talk about about the cavs don't want four rookies. They could take 4 more next year. Why not- we are not a top team yet. Need to replace next year if they stick-walton, gibson, cassapi, maybe azubuike, sammuels?, haragody, gee(depending if he takes QO and not 3 year deal).

I'm sticking with my three guard hopes of Irving/Muhammed/Waiters because of Waiters combo guard traits he could easily get 30+ minutes per game coming off the bench for Muhammed/Irving. With Muhammed not able to play NCAA apparently his stock will drop off considerably like Jennings did if he goes to Europe, and it should allow us to draft him if we are in the range I suspect we will be (7-12).

Edit: I shouldn't have said apparently. I mean possibly...

We could also go ultra small and ultra fast with those 3. KI/DW/Muhammad/TT/Zeller.
