Western Conference Finals:

(1) Spurs vs. (2) Thunder - Series tied: 2-2

Eastern Conference Finals:

(1) Pacers vs. (2) Heat - Miami leads series: 3-2

For now on, I'll be a Thunder fan throughout the playoffs lol.

With Brooklyn losing against the Knicks at home without Carmelo and resting their starters tonight (trailing 15 pts in the 3rd at time of the post) along with Washington up 15 against the Celtics, it looks like the Nets are going to drop to the 6 seed and the lower bracket in the Eastern Conference.

Instead of playing the 4 seed Bulls in the first round, they'll match up with the 3 seed Raptors in the first round and face Miami if both teams advance into the second.

Indiana in the top half of the Eastern Conference bracket would play the winner of Chicago/Washington in the second round if/when they advance past the Hawks.

So instead of a BK/IND second round brawl it would be IND/CHI most likely and potentially BK/MIA.

Anyone else excited at the prospect of Brooklyn hitting Miami square in the mouth in the second round?

So Miami has to go through Al Jefferson, BK, and Indiana potentially. Rough.

Al is gonna average damn near 20 and 20 on Miami

They just don't want to see Chicago. And I doubt they play Brooklyn. Raptors been ballin.

I started looking at this a few nights ago, wondering if the Nets would tank to get to the lower half of the bracket and a second round matchup against MIA. I guess it did come to fruition. I know I'll have my popcorn ready :D

I agree. Toronto is tough. Somehow the Bulls just have seemed to have the Nets number lately though.

It also makes sense to want to face MIA sooner in the playoffs rather than later when the older team is more beat up.

Nets vets/HOF's also may get a few more calls than the Raptors in round 1. I imagine they'll be pretty vocal about their distaste too. They may not even deserve to win the series but when they have 7 games with MIA anything can happen.

I have a feeling Miami doesnt drop more than one game in each series until they reach the finals.

Rooting for the Spurs to win it all! And maybe the Thunder as well. I will be happy if either of them win the championship!

When the Indians or the Browns aren't in the playoffs, I lose interest completely in those games.

But I'm an NBA lifer man. I watch pretty much every single playoff game and love every minute of it.

East will be a bit of a snoozer, but I'm looking forward to a 2nd round Miami Brooklyn battle, and the inevitable war between Miami and Indy if both teams make it to the ECF.

West is gonna be nuts though.

Same here. Good, physical and entertaining basketball always guaranteed. There's just another gear for playoff games no matter who plays, too bad the Cavs missed on the experience.
