Do Not Sell My Personal Information
With the 52nd pick in the 2014 NBA Draft the Cleveland Cavaliers select:

Artem Klimenko, C, Russia

Minnesota is on the clock.

With the 53rd pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, the Minnesota Timberwolves select...............Nikola Jokic, C from Serbia

Birthday: 2/19/95
NBA Position: PF/C
Class: International
Ht: 6-11
Wt: 255
Wingspan: 7'3"
Standing Reach: 9'3”
Team: Mega Vizura
Hometown: Sombor, Serbia

DraftExpress article snippet during the World Select Team's practice in April 2014: Jokic, an exceptionally unique player, has an advanced feel for the game, recognizing the open man when the defense breaks down, and while he isn't very explosive and needs to get stronger, he has been easily the most productive player over the last two days thanks to his shooting ability and footwork in the post. Although he's gotten his shot blocked on a couple occasions, his footwork and instincts in the post have allowed him to find his angles to get his shot off or draw contact in close. He's such an unconventional and creative finisher that you never quite know what kind of trick he will try to pull off, which has left many rotating defenders baffled, while old-school NBA lifers just shake their heads and smile. Considering he was a relative unknown only a little over a year ago, Jokic has made a very strong impression to this point, and could gain plenty of traction among scouts if he can ride this momentum to a strong performance against the stacked US frontcourt on game day.

How many players are the Timberwolves gonna have?? They're at 17 right now!

It's rather common in the off-season. Last time I checked you bring at least 20 to training camp. Easy to waive players and/or have a guy like Jokic play abroad.

Screw it, I know who I want. I saw a mock draft where this guy was at #25, and he was projected to be lottery in years past. Not sure what all happened, but I love skill, and I'm going to love this pick. I also just learned he was partially blind in one eye, but that isn't enough to deter me. Skill is skill, and rare at his size.

With the 41st pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, the Boston Celtics select Isaiah Austin from Baylor University.

I guess the Celtics didn't do enough homework on his medicals.

Bump. Shoes, you are on the clock.

With the 54th pick in the NBA draft, the Milwaukee Bucks select Khem Birch, PF from UNLV.

I say start skipping picks or doing them for them. If they don't care enough to check after a couple days, then I'm sure they won't care if we make a late second round pick for them.

With the 55th pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, the Miami Heat select Dwight Powell, Stanford.

My fault, got banned until today. FWIW I would've taken CJ Fair @56.

With the 57th pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, the Indiana Pacers select...
LaQuinton Ross

from THE Ohio State University

Had to give the alumni some love, and he can help bring a bit of perimeter wing scoring to the 3 and 4 spots in the occasions I need him.
