Joe Blanton is...not good.

Great guy, good clubhouse fit. But not...not good.

His numbers as a reliever have been pretty good in recent years, although he got shelled in the playoffs. I'd take him over Austin Adams at least.

You may not be wrong in the short term, but I'd like to see Adams kept for his ceiling.

Here is a good article on Blanton's transition, I guess it's not all bad. Just not sure he's worth the big league deal.

I still likely have PTSD from his tenure in LA in 2012.

If it makes you feel any better, I'd be hoping for him on a minor league deal. I just think he'd end up beating out Adams.

I am doubting we would get him on a minor league deal since he has been really good the last couple seasons. If we do it's because of his age, but I am highly doubting we will get him for that cheap/no risk like that

The other connection Breslow has is that he used to play here.

I think it's Logan, Blevins then Breslow; I prefer the UD Flyer Blevins but that's not based on talent.

That's why they list Shapiro as a connection to Toronto...

And its Logan/Blevins neck and neck, with Breslow a distant 3rd.

Problem is, Logan and Blevins are probably looking for 2/10 deals, while Breslow might be had for a minors deal.

But if I had my pick, I think I'd take Logan. Have the 2 best LH breaking pitches in the game from last season in the same bullpen.

Hmm for different reasons I am tossed up between Breslow and Blevins. I would say Breslow but if somehow Blevins falls into our lap yeah get him. I have no idea why but Logan is not a guy would want, I am with you on Blevins actually now that I think about it, but I assume we will end up with Breslow and I am Okay with that. I have nothing against Logan and I know not much about him. I just feel Breslow has that year in him and Blevins would be a great steal.

Which one of the three would you guys want first? To me by the numbers I do not see a whole lot of differences between Blevins and Logan, while breslow hasn't been good in a few years, even though i guess his mechanic change is supposedly made him better.

Again Breslow might have "that wonder year" and if cheap yes. Blevins is the best and Logan is the dark horse. I would take any three and run of course but I would go Breslow and Blevins even before Logan. Again that is my lack of Baseball knowledge talking but from what I seen Logan might be command a higher price than the other two.

What's going on with Nap?? Anything?

Essentially he is trying to get a multi-year deal and so far no one is offering it to him, just one year deals. Hence why he hasn't signed and it means he has to take a lesser deal or switch agents to see if a new one can come up with something for him, but either way we won't see him in Cleveland next season
