2016 BOLD PREDICTIONS

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Let's see here:

Record: 101-61

Kluber and Carrasco both in CY Young Race

Diaz top 5 in Rookie of the Year (he will hit to well to send him down)

Encarnacion will get MVP honors

SS Award to Lindor, GG to Gomes

Santana will lead the league in walks

All Stars: Kluber, Encarnacion, Lindor, Miller (Allen and Ramirez will get shafted from this)

Otero will replace Shaw as 7th inning guy

Clevinger will make a few starts for Salazar, but all 5 SP get over 150 SO and the Indians lead the league in SO as a staff.

Also all 5 of our projected starting rotation's ERA will be under 4.20 and Shaw will have the worst ERA on the team.

Zimmer will not get called up before September and Aiken will be at AA to finish the season.

I will give up on the Indians in April.

Got a few right last year...see if I can do the same again...

1. Naquin proves his rookie season was no fluke, fixes his problems with pitches above the belt, improves his defense, and is one of the best OFs in the AL by WAR, drops 20+ HRs, and drives in 70+ runs out of the 9 hole.

2. Carlos Santana leads the MLB in runs scored.

3. Indians have 6 All-Stars. Lindor, Kluber, Miller, Brantley, Encarnacion, Allen.

4. For a 3rd straight season, Lindor is the superior player to Correa. Cracks 20 HRs for the first time in his career, wins the AL batting title, steals 20+ bags, drives in 90 runs, scores 100+ more. Wins the AL SS Gold Glove, AL SS Silver Slugger, and AL MVP due to Trout's team being out of playoff contention early in the summer and LeBron-esque voter fatigue.

5. Trevor Bauer finally lives up to his pre-draft potential. Strikes out 200+ batters in 200+ IP of sub 3.00 ERA pitching and wins 20 games...finishes 3rd in the AL Cy Young voting behind Sale and the eventual winner, Corey Kluber.

6. Indians have 3 guys in the top 5 voting for the Cy Young (Kluber, Bauer, Salazar), and 2 guys in the top 5 voting for the MVP (Lindor and Encarnacion).

7. Indians best their franchise best 14 game winning streak from last season with a 17 game run this season.

You forgot to drop the mic

Oh yeah, I forgot to say the Indians win the World Series over the Cubs! They are going all the way this season!!!!

The injury bug hits us. Brantley's miracle comeback ends in tragedy. Kipnis looks hampered all year, hitting .230. Salazar and Carrasco both get hurt. Tomlin gets shelled. Naquin gets figured out and struggles with fastballs above the belt all year long. The team with so much promise ends up getting a wild card spot, and losing the one-game playoff to the Tampa Bay Rays... again.

Those are my MOLD predictions.

  1. Chiz traded
  2. Encarnacion has a subpar year, .245 / 20+HRs 85+RBIs
  3. Jose plays 50 games at 2nd
  4. Both Perez and Gomes get minor injuries, but bat a combined .310
  5. Santana hits 40 HRs

Your boner for drone boy is unquenchable.

To be fair Tomlin is objectively a better and more likeable pitcher than Droner
