The east is going to be nasty next season.

The eight seeds Cleveland, Toronto, Miami, Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte [unless they lose both Williams and Lin], Indiana, and Detroit should still be competitors.

Washington, Orlando, Milwaukee, New York, and Brooklyn have either competed the previous season or are looking to compete.

I don't know what's going to happen with Chicago and Philadelphia. Chicago sent their second best player to New York for no draft picks. Philadelphia has had all the draft picks in the world it seems but is now looking to ship their drafted players... to do it again?

Indiana is going to be the new Hawks...50 to 60 regular season wins and a 2nd round playoff exit

Looks like Minny is getting butler...they are loaded ...not sure how far they get in the west though

So it appears the Bulls weren't as stupid as I thought they might be earlier tonight. And it seems Shams Charnia might have kinda missed the boat on this one. Everyone now reporting it's the Wolves still trying to make a deal happen and the Bulls are just not having it. Seems impossible to believe now that it was the other way around, and the Wolves were the ones who pulled out because they couldn't part with Zach effin Lavine.

That Thunder trade is bonkers. How did they get that much for damn Serge Ibaka?!

Kings trade Bellinelli to Charlotte for #22 pick.

Teams giving away picks.
I would be doing the same

The last few drafts have been a waste of time. By the time these 18 and 19 year old kids are who they are gonna be as an adult NBA player their off their rookie contract or are so upset at their team that they get traded.

Wizards preparing a max offer for Joakim Noah - http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/242390/Wizards-Preparing-Max-Offer-To-Joakim-Noah

The Washington Wizards are prepared to make a major offer to Joakim Noah in free agency.

Washington will offer Noah a full maximum contract that would start at $28 million and reach around $120 million over four seasons.

Noah is coming off shoulder surgery that ended his season in January.

Noah is expected to leave the Chicago Bulls this offseason and they traded for Robin Lopez previously this week. A source said Noah has no intentions of re-signing with the Bulls and is ready to move on this offseason.

The New York Knicks, Minnesota Timberwolves and Milwaukee Bucks are also preparing major offers to Noah.

“If teams are convinced Noah is healthy, he will get a max deal, and Washington is panicking because Nene is done and they didn’t make the playoffs last season,’’ said one GM. “They’ll overpay for Noah — they always do.’’

No way....

I know things get blown out of proportion every year but Noah getting the max would really be one of the worst deals ever. He's not even good anymore. Unbelievable. Taj Gibson is a better player at this point in their careers.
