Well, they got their home victory. Congrats. Now blow them out next game.
I don't think Cubs feel that good about that win. They barely skated by and with the help of the umps at that. I'd like to see the game called fairly to see if the end result would still be the same but we will never know. Indians are owed home cooking in a big way.
With the crowd on your side, it will put pressure on the umps to make the right calls. And hopefully give you some for a change. The league has decreed that there shall be no home cooking for the Tribe. This series is going 7, and the Cubs winning it all is still the storyline they are pushing.
...what I was saying all night.Meh. Bottom line is everybody not named Bauer has shut these guys down. I wouldn't have put him within 100 feet of the mound tonight, but whatever.
What did he do? did he leave the booth and celebrated with the Cubs?Lost all respect for Joe Buck.
You had respect for him in the 1st place?Lost all respect for Joe Buck.
Yea, wearing a cubs jersey is definitely worth battering someone. They deserve it!Stupid for the lady to wear that anyways. I'm sure shit happened way worse when the Browns were good.
Lost all respect for Joe Buck.
You know I used to dislike the NBA on ABC guys. I found them to be corny, and not good in a deciding game.
....That changed this year because I found Breen's call of us to be REALLY GOOD and their guys really respected/followed our team very closely.
Are they Marv Albert/Mike "Tsar of the Telestrator" Fratello good? No. But they seem to at least FOLLOW THE NBA.
Buck is a guy who has said in the past "I barely watch sports. That's not a part of my day". He has no idea about the Tribe, so he gravitates back to the Cubs because their a big market team and they've been on a lot of national televsion.
His broadcasting of this game reminds me of Thom Brennaman a few years a go calling the Florida-Oklahoma Rose Bowl talking about Tebow or Todd Harris calling the 2005 Indianapolis 500 (where he ignored several awesome storylines in favor of Danica Patrick).
Joe Buck doesn't respect this franchise, and at no point was the broadcast geared towards the Indians possibly clinching their first World Series since 1948. Nope, it's all been some unintelligeable mess of sloppy blow jobs towards the Chicago Cubs organization, it's fans and Wrigley Field. When a player for the Tribe would make a play? It'd be met with shrugged shoulders. When a player for the Cards would? Good fucking lord. You'd think the guy was the son of Harry Carey, NOT JACK BUCK.
And that's what sucks. Joe is a fucking BORE. His dad wasn't like that. His dad enthusiastic, knowledgeable and loved the games he covere.
What I learned from tonights loss is
A. Cavs and the Cleveland drought was about to lose the Finals to god like creatures and National Media did not care. Won in historic fashion... They were forced to care.
B. Cubs are about to lose the Series and all media is on edge and wins JUST ONE GAME AT HOME they all give a moment for the Cubs and fans like they won it all.
How out of touch do you have to be anymore to live in this world? On top of this we have SJWs wanting to get rid of our logo. Idiots who still think the city is nothing. Fuck, Cleveland VS the world is real. I will fight for my city my teams and people.. I do not care how nice you are what you have done in life. To me you are nothing if you try to put this city down. Go Indians.
I'm getting tired of Cubs fans showing up in my feed just seemingly taunting us. I'm also getting tired of seeing people like Eddie Vedder and others being forced on us during the broadcast.
it's getting old. I'm empathetic to a certain extent to a lot of Cubs fans, but this shit has to stop, and it has to stop Tuesday.
