We had a few good opportunities and choked it away. Baseball was fun... Yankees, Angels, Redsox same teams spending for the best players out there, I wouldn't be shocked if Boston gives Satana a great contract now.

MLB needs to investigate Jeter. Plays with the Bronx for twenty years. Gets a stake in ownership and sends one of the best pure power hitters of the past 25 years to the Yankees for table scraps.

Well, MLB created this mess and I wouldn't be surprised to see Yelich and Ozuna be moved as well.

It's not like Jeter and Sherman want to slash salaries, they have to. They have no money. It's like buying a house you can't afford. You have the house but no TV's, appliances or furniture to put in it.

Shit, Jeter and Sherman are already sending out packets of information to potential investors begging for $250 million. That's unprecedented-- they've owned the team for two months.

Let's not forget a couple of weeks ago they fired a scout who is battling cancer while he was in the hospital waiting for a new kidney.

I dont think a cap would matter- the Marlins are pretty far in debt. I doubt this is what they had in mind when they purchased... Or maybe they did but did it anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if this is why the deal was initially delayed- and that MLB was willing to allow this to get rid of Loris.

No doubt the Yankees had all the leverage and the deals from Giants and Cardinals were probably better (speculation) but because of the no-trade clause, Marlins had to do something. Hope Irving sucks...I mean Stanton sucks.

There is rumors that the DBacks could be trading AJ Pollock but need bullpen help. I am thinking we trade McAllister and a prospect or two for Pollock? This would allow them to get another Reliever as well since it would cut down the cap and get them a veteran Reliever. Pollock struggled the last two seasons but without a doubt is a top CF defensively and is a guy poised to have a bounce back year.
