Seems like they are likely checking on all fronts. I think if Pollock comes available they will look at him as well and we will have to overpay for Yelich

Santana at 1st base is our first target then we are looking at OFs like Ozuna and maybe a Pollock to play OF

If we cannot get those guys then we will look at an Adams, Jackson etc.

So I guess once a Santana/Hosmer signs, will set the market once a Ozuna gets traded then the rest of the market will be set.

That could be a really good signing since he has had some good years in the pros. It wouldn’t surprise me if he had an out clause after a certain date in that contract with incentives if he makes the big league club.

Would you guys deal Zimmer for Yelich? Considering that we already know Yelich is a consistent 4 WAR player and Zimmer 's bat is still an unknown, I think I would make that trade especially with Yelich being under contract for so long.

Probably a move they make if they trade Kip that they are making sure to keep touching base on. Cubs and Indians have had conversations on players with each other every off season the last 3 or 4 years.

Keeping Jose at 2B isn't set in stone, because Kipnis not being on the roster isn't set in stone, and Kipnis playing OF if he stays isn't set in stone. Lot of stuff up in the air still.

Also...don't disregard what acquiring Baez, who is very close with Lindor, does for our chances in getting him to extend.
