2017-2018 Around the NBA

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm starting to take Boston a little more serious as the second best team in the East.

I don't think by any chance they have a prayer against us. They don't match up against us, and LeBron James will be too much for them, once again.

You can't have no real inside presence when playing him. There's a reason why he destroys Al Horford teams when he's their center.

But they are pretty good though. Guys like Rozier and Smart aren't world beaters, but better than last year.

They don't have Brown or Morris tonight, and go into Indy, and beat them by double digits. That's a really good win, while not being that great defensively.

The problem with the Celtics, is they match up so awful against us, and they don't have the talent nor the depth to make up for it.

They don't have size and shot blocking up front. That killed them against LeBron last year.

Honestly, I think that'd be a clean sweep. Other teams would stand a better chance.

Doesn't mean Boston sucks, sometimes bad match ups are the determining factor more than anything.

How well do we match up with them? We don't have anyone who can contain Kyrie and we don't have any rim protection at all. They have way better rim protection than we do. They have more effective bodies to throw at LeBron then we have to through at Kyrie. They play with better effort, younger, more athletic, and better coaching.

Right
They should easily beat the Cavs

If they don’t it will go down in history as the biggest choke job in the last century

More effort younger athletic , great coaching

Looking forward to the excuses come meaningful games.

Just, no.

I actually think New Orleans could be title contenders if it weren't for the SOlomin Hill and Asik contracts

No rim protection against LB = 5 games max all the time.

I'll take my chances with LeBron on Kyrie when the game is on the line, (if you saw LeBron shut Kemba down who's no slouch) and who the fuck are Boston's rim protectors exactly? LeBron will eat them up.

I understand people just like to be different and think out of the box, but Jesus Christ dude you make it sound like Cleveland has no chance whatsoever.

Ohhhh they have the big bad wolf in Kyrie, they got shot blockers, they have god himself coaching these outstanding kids, come on man. They have the same old Al Horford who's 1-16 vs LeBron in the postseason and has no rim protecting answers vs LeBron. What is Baynes going to not foul all of a sudden? Stop it.

As far as I'm concerned, we have the better bench plus LeBron James, which should be a more rested LeBron James. We have IT, who was drawing triple teams last season and still scoring 30, hence the "I can score 30 in my sleep." Wade steps his game up tenfold in the postseason which means more focus, which means better defense.

And I'm not even factoring in what Brooklyn's pick leads to, which will be eventually something useful.

Kyrie can score 60 for all I care, everyone else should fold like a cheap lawnchair, including Stevens, like he's been doing. (Vs Cavs)

Let's go Kings. Clippers need to keep losing.

Christ: 1-12 for George in an OKC loss to Dallas. That team is struggling

At this rate we maybe able to get George just with Antic and our pick (forgot offering them that Brooklyn pick) :chuckle:

Something is wrong in OKC. More than just bad luck and unfamiliarity.

Westbrook is just not the same guy he was last year or even the last few years. Wonder if his knee is acting up?

The West doesn’t allow for a lot of wiggle room. If they don’t get it together soon they could be looking at a tough road to even a playoff spot.

Not a big Paul George fan. I reluctantly put him in my top-20.

I don't know, I just never got the vibe he's a superstar. Thought a lot of people on this board started overrating him because of his performance against us in the playoffs.

We swept them. JR was guarding him most the time. That's a mismatch.

But notice when we put LB on him, he literally did nothing.

Man the Clippers. Cavs really just need to be on the phone pronto about DeAndre.

Too many players that need to have the ball in their hands.

It never works with three guys. It barely, works with two.

It hurts that none of them are great catch-and-shoot players, that can adjust.

George and 'Melo aren't bad shooters, but they need the ball in their hands. Westbrook always does.

It's why it works in GS. Durant can be an ISO player, but catch-and-shoot.

Same with Steph. Klay is strictly a catch and shoot player.

Even here in Cleveland (when he was here anyways). LeBron and Kyrie are ISO players, but Kyrie can at least catch and shoot.

These three players don't mesh together at all.

I think you need more catch and shoot type of star caliber players next to Westbrook. He's just always going to be ball dominant and doesn't know another way.

George has been a fantastic shooter for years now.

George isn't the problem: He can catch and shoot. That's why he'd look wonderful slotted next to James in our lineup. A Love, Korver, Lebron, George, Wade lineup would be delicious

Man do the Kings ever suck. Lord.

That's a bottom 3 team, guaranteed.
