So, anyway, here's the bare bones of the deal.

To Phoenix: Malcom Brogdon, Iman Shumpert
To Milwaukee: Kyrie Irving
To Cleveland: Khris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe, Thon Maker

Before anyone goes berserk for whatever reason, there can be and probably would be more moving parts. There's a lot of leeway here considering Milwaukee has all of their picks and Phoenix has a ton of cap space. Leaves wiggle room for more give and take.

So, for instance, lets say Phoenix wants a pick or two, MIlwaukee can then counter by saying they'll give up those picks if Phoenix takes back a bad contract, like John Henson. Likewise, we can send Osman to one team or the other, depending on who needs more.

So, imagine the above only add in Milwaukee's 2018 1st rounder lottery protected to Phoenix, possibly Cleveland's 2021 1st rounder to Phoenix, and then a bad contract to Phoenix like John Henson or Teletovic. Something along those lines. Potentially Osman to Milwaukee.

Ok, have at it.

What I'll say before you do, though, is I've done a good deal of searching around the web for what Phoenix wants for Bledsoe. Again, this seems to be about it. When Begley said the Knicks would give up multiple first rounders along with Carmelo for Kyrie, Phoenix fans were ready to hop in by offering Bledsoe, but not for Kyrie, for the picks + the guy the Knicks picked at 8.

So I think this is pretty damn comparable to that type of return.

Anyway, with a move like this we upgrade our shooting guard position not just from a talent standpoint, but from a fit standpoint. We get a guy who has the length to cover bigger wings (Durant), something we severely lacked this year. We replace Kyrie with a pretty good player who happens to be a creator, something we will need to replace with Kyrie leaving.

And then we get a raw prospect, but a guy who, if he continues to develop, helps fill another major hole in the roster. Athletic rim protector.

We should not be dealing any future picks until we know if LeBron is resigned do you wanna be Nets level bad if he leaves?

Dude, you gotta stop with some of these posts.

It's a pick. One pick. Not 3 first rounders. And it's in 2021. We have our 2018 pick. We have our 2020 pick.

Brogdon was also a rookie, so telling me 3rd year Gary Harris was better.........eh, ok. First year Brogdon was immensely better than 1st year Harris.
I think the Brogdon hype is a bit overboard especially compared to a very good 2 years younger Harris

Harris is 22
Brogdon is 24

I think Harris will be better at 24 than Brogdon is now by far.. Brogdon has tittle room left to Grow at 24.. Harris as a 15/3/3 at 50/42 already has at 22.

Yea right now I agree Phoenix and Milwaukee are the most enticing teams... Im going for Parker, Middleton, and Thon though...let them say no then go from there if that's the case.. Brogdon would be next of they reject that but Middleton is a must

I'm starting to think Pritchard was playing multi-dimensional chess while everyone else was playing checkers.

Yeah, he nixed an agreed to deal at the 11th hour, and ended up with lesser talent on the deal, but look at the big picture: He may have precipitated the blow up of the #1 rival in the division a year early. Had he dealt PG to Cleveland, he's potentially seeing a re-signed George, re-signed LeBron and under contract Irving (this was prior to trade request, mind you) for the next 3-5 seasons.

Sending George to an also-ran out west may force James out of Cleveland (and out of the East?), where afterwards the Cavs would be shopping Irving and Love anyway (you know tank mode's coming if James leaves) and Indiana's timetable to move back up the division ladder is accelerated.

Well played, sir! Irving asking out is simply good luck added on.

Would anyone do Kyrie / Shumps for Kemba / MKG ?

There is NO WAY I am adding picks to Kyrie in a trade. We are trading Kyrie Irving! We should be getting the picks. Unless it is for someone who is better than Kyrie, I am not adding any picks. Not even 2nd round picks.

Exactly..Cavs should be getting a haul for KI including draft picks..Cavs should not shipping any picks out to anyone.

I can't fathom why people want Brogdon but call Gary Harris a shit return when Harris is a better shooter defender scorer and 2 years younger. Just seems weird if alls we get is Middleton and Brogdon give me Chandler Harris Murray.

Because we are also looking to compete this year and persuade LeBron to stay.

Murray is far from being ready. He has good talent offensively but defensively he is quite poor and against the Warriors, he would be exposed. So, he won't be a major factor against the Warriors. Harris is a good defender but he can't guard KD which is something we need to address as well. Chandler can be isn't a better defender or player than Middleton. The Denver core doesn't really move the needle at all to convince LeBron to stay.

The Bucks though is a different matter altogether. We can get Middleton + Brogdon + Thon Maker/one 1st rounder from the Bucks. In Middleton, we get a player who is better than any player Denver would be willing to give us. Then we can turn Brogdon + 1st rounder from the Bucks into Bledsoe.

So, essentially we would replace Kyrie with a very good PG, in Bledsoe who also plays good defense and in Middleton, a good 3&D wing who can handle the ball a bit and also guard KD. Offense, we get worse slightly but we improve our defense by a big margin. We address two of our biggest needs with Bledsoe + Middleton.

Also, both Bledsoe and Middleton are locked in at least for the next two years unlike Harris and Chandler who can be free-agents next summer. That is why I would anyday prefer the Bucks core of Brogdon, Middleton, 1st Rounder/Thon Maker over Murray, Harris and Chandler from the Bucks.

Best Trade Request i've seen on here. Middleton, Bledsoe and a stronger, more polished Maker? C'mon now. That would be the absolute best case scenario. The improvement of our team defense would be such a joy to watch. Easily a better equipped team for the Regular Season and especially against the Warriors.

Unfortunately, i don't think Milwaukee would be willing to part ways with Middleton AND Maker.

What about dealing with the magic?

They are desperately lookng for a star player to revive the franchise. Isaac, Gordon, Biyombo and draft picks could be a nice start.

Who starts at point for us? Jose Calderon?

Secondly, Biyombo would be fairly pointless against the Warriors when they go small.

I like the potential of Godon, but he hasn't done much really. He can help us in terms of guarding KD but what about offensively?

There are a lot of trades I would consider before Orlando one.

Biyombo's contract is just too damn unbearable. Can't bring a bad contract like that back for Irving.

Downside is the PG position.. Payton has imptroved over the season, but his lack of shooting is problematic.
I'm in the camp that we should rebuild while contending and perhaps try to grab a pg from a 3rd team.
If we get Rose it becomes less of a problem and in the playoffs going big with LBJ as the PG and play switching defense can be a very intriguing option.

We are still going to need a scorer to replace Irvings production.

Yeah, but I think he could exploit gsws weaknesses better than TT. He is still a terrible offensive player , but I always liked him.

I cant fucking type because of a damn shoulder surgery so i'll just continue to just read.
