Because if you try and say anything positive about him it has to be followed by negatives. You can't say he's an MVP candidate or that he looks better this year without someone telling you how bad he really is which if funny because the opposite was happening here whenever there was a new media hit piece on how Kyrie really wasn't that good and then we defended him but now it's the reverse. Funny how that works.
It's also not as fun being a Cavs fan like it has been the last few seasons. It seems like now it's more about shitting on other teams and players than actually acknowledging our own. Like a Celtics loss or Warriors loss is better than a Cavs win. Philly has a good team now, let's talk about how it's too risky for LeBron to sign there. Houston looks like a threat. Nope GSW in the finals is a virtual lock. But Houston could get LeBron next year. Nope. he'd be dumb to go there. The Lakers have a decent young team now. Have you heard about LaVar Ball? He's a real dick. lol
It's crazy round here now. We've turned into a fan base that is more interested in the failure of other teams and players than the success of our own.
Has this season been fun? It's definitely been better since the winning streak but it's harder to get up for games this year than previous years. Even last year when the team just totally bullshitted through the regular season it was easier to be up for games. Something is missing. I don't know if it's not having Kyrie, LeBron's pending FA, The Warriors looking like the runaway favorites again, The injuries, it's something. The team just has the feel of a team that's nearing the end of a run because of the uncertainties that lie ahead. Sort of like that Celtics team that fell apart after 2010. Or The Heat in the playoffs in LeBron's final year. Just feels a little off.
