Nobody in the NBA is touching Kyrie in the shoe game except for maybe LeBron. They're just on another level with their shoes and Kyrie's are still very popular here even though he doesn't play for us anymore.

Cavs fans have become extreme now. This is something I thought we made fun of other fan bases for being.

Oh I see. What makes you say that? Personally I don't hate Kyrie. I just don't really care about him anymore now that he's left the Cavs.

Because if you try and say anything positive about him it has to be followed by negatives. You can't say he's an MVP candidate or that he looks better this year without someone telling you how bad he really is which if funny because the opposite was happening here whenever there was a new media hit piece on how Kyrie really wasn't that good and then we defended him but now it's the reverse. Funny how that works.

It's also not as fun being a Cavs fan like it has been the last few seasons. It seems like now it's more about shitting on other teams and players than actually acknowledging our own. Like a Celtics loss or Warriors loss is better than a Cavs win. Philly has a good team now, let's talk about how it's too risky for LeBron to sign there. Houston looks like a threat. Nope GSW in the finals is a virtual lock. But Houston could get LeBron next year. Nope. he'd be dumb to go there. The Lakers have a decent young team now. Have you heard about LaVar Ball? He's a real dick. lol

It's crazy round here now. We've turned into a fan base that is more interested in the failure of other teams and players than the success of our own.

Has this season been fun? It's definitely been better since the winning streak but it's harder to get up for games this year than previous years. Even last year when the team just totally bullshitted through the regular season it was easier to be up for games. Something is missing. I don't know if it's not having Kyrie, LeBron's pending FA, The Warriors looking like the runaway favorites again, The injuries, it's something. The team just has the feel of a team that's nearing the end of a run because of the uncertainties that lie ahead. Sort of like that Celtics team that fell apart after 2010. Or The Heat in the playoffs in LeBron's final year. Just feels a little off.

Golden State is not even slightly trying

Leave us with this same roster plus Kyrie and minus IT and we still get fucking smoked

So don’t feel bad about that hypothetical. Golden State will turn it on in the postseason and walk to their second uncontested title

Not sure we'd get smoked but GS still heavy favs none the less.

Honestly, sounds like you are just being dramatic. Kyrie has been playing a lot better recently and now has MVP type numbers. This wasn't the case the first couple weeks. Still, he's a distant third behind Harden & LeBron.

This forum has been fear mongering about the Warriors (and Cavs) and LeBron's future for years now. This is nothing new.

Are you...sure you don't fall in the Kyrie stan category?

There's no middle ground. You're either a Stan or a Hater.
I'm not really sure how the thread wouldn't be this. It's not surprising that the posts in this thread are majority Hate/Love given that wounds are still fresh AND he brought us a championship.

And as stated above he's not on our team anymore.

Give it time and it will be more of what you expect it to be around this thread, if it lasts past this year anyway.

24-5-3 aren't really MVP numbers for me. His team's success and the narrative is probably more why he's in the conversation than anything. Good for him though.
Yeah I'd say his team success plus his efficiency puts him in 3rd.

Well, rally the troops man. Don’t just complain about it. Make this fan base better if you’re going to criticize it in a thread on a message board.

Problem solve instead of just bitching. Take the team on your shoulders and carry them through the regular season.
