Never underestimate the basketball hall of fame voters. They are the same group of people that refused to have a unanimous mvp many times during the 2000s, only to gift one to Curry because people didn't want to vote for LeBron again.

Idk man - nobody in the 2000's had a season in the same vein as Curry's that year. It's the greatest shooting season of all time, and I don't expect it to be touched for a while.

His team also set the wins/losses record.

I hate GS as much as the next guy, but I thought he definitely earned the right to be unanimous that season.

The Suns are such a pathetic defensive team. Celtics come down on a secondary break, two defenders go with a cutting Kyrie and leave Smart wide open on the wing. Smart fires a three and misses, because he's Marcus Smart. The ball bounces back to him, all the Suns just turn and look at him, no one moves. Now, on the one hand you think, "well, yeah, he's Marcus Smart, he isn't making this open three." And to be fair, you'd be right. He missed another wide open three. But then the ball bounces to Horford in the corner... and STILL no one on the Suns bothers moving toward him. Bang.

Celtics are not going to reach the Ecf , book it. They need a reinforcement.
They have the refs in their pocket and they still look like shit.

Shooting close to 50% this year.

Wouldn't have guessed that without Hayward. However, he's done a good job at picking his spots and Stevens is keeping him well rested.

I would have benched the entire 5 in the lineup after a play like that. Seriously WTF was that.

Yeah the problem isn't that Curry wasn't worthy of being unanimous but that others like Shaq and Lebron clearly had dominant seasons as well that should have been unaminous

Wtf

Pathetic sums that up well.

Feel like they are finally coming down to Earth some. Struggling to beat some bad teams.

They're not bad, Boston, just reality is going to hit they're not a power house.

I know players and coaches never think this. I almost feel its bad for them to overachieve this much, because reality is only going to hurt that much more if they get beat in the second round.

Which I think they could TBH.

Don't think they have the assets (they'd want to move anyways). But Boston would be a more interesting team if they got Jordan though.

They need someone like him.

The answer to that is obvious, this is a Cavs forum and Kyrie was a Cav. He was never close to the best PG and he isn't now either.

Most of us were only saying that after Kyrie hit the shot, outplayed the MVP, and we won the finals.

Everyone can get a little sentimental and carried away. Not sure why that keeps getting brought up over and over again.

I mean, yeah, we are Cav fans and can be a bit biased and get carried away in the moment.

All fans are guilty of that. And frankly, there's nothing wrong with it.

Trust me, most people, when they weren't caught up in that moment never truly thought that.

That doesn't mean there was never any bias regarding him.

There's bias towards every player on the Cavs, not just Kyrie.

Fans either hate their own players too much, or love them too. Hardly an in-between.

8-2 in their last ten games, in first place by 3.5 games, biggest point differential in the East, beating the Bucks by 13 as we speak...yeah they're really struggling all right.

24ppg and 4.8APG on 49.6% shooting from the field and 38.8% shooting from 3. in 32mpg
in the last 10games he is averaging 28.9 ppg on 56% shooting.

He’s one of the best players in the league. He’s healthy and motivated. And we may still come out ahead in this trade…
