Sweep. Fuck it. Why not?

Our pitching is better, our bullpen is better, our fielding is better and we hit better. They have more power as a team (maybe), but our guys will put pitches in places they can't hit. They have a fairly high K% that will help us take our time on their batters.

We're going to have to possibly go through the Yankees, Red Sox and possibly the Dodgers or Cubs. I highly suggest you avoid any sports media that has shown any bias. Otherwise it will be painful.

When I was going through pitching lessons when I was younger it was always attack down, miss down, don’t miss up.

So what did the hitters start to do? Sit down, look down, lay off high. So modern day swings are best equipped to hit low pitches.

So what will pitchers start to do? Attack up, cause most can’t hit up, cause they weren’t taught to hit up, or their swing mechanics will never let them hit pitches up, like we saw with Naquin.

I swing left handed and the lower portion of the strike zone is my comfort zone. Anything from low and in to low and away. My issue is I have an older style swing using my hips and having an uppercut swing more of a Will Clark style than a Ted Williams flat style. So yes I struck out quite a bit or popped up because of the upper cut.

Although they hate it when I play softball...
 
Would you rather play Kipnis in CF with Gio at 3B or move Kipnis back to 2B and play Jackson in CF (Jose back to 3b)?

I haven't heard people talking about this option, but I'd rather have Jackson in the lineup and this would help avoid potential defensive disaster with Kip in CF.

(This is assuming Bruce starts RF and Chiz starts LF).

I don't see any reason why Kipnis should be playing CF.

Nothing is ever easy in Cleveland. We are going to drop game 1 as our bats go silent. Cleveland panics. ESPN orgasms. Kluber and Carrasco take care of business, Tomlin is shelled, Kluber wins game 5.

Anyone have thoughts/insight on what MLB will do if Friday is rained out (90% chance of rain currently). I have a wedding on Saturday at 1 and tickets to games 1 & 2! Blergh.

I am definitely in the put Kip at 2nd base. Makes our outfield D better, and takes Urshela's bat out. Lose a little infield D, but Kip's hot streak makes up for it.

But we're getting Kip in CF.

Would be Moved to saturday. But as of just a little while ago i only saw chance of rain around 60-70% and that was for the morning. But mid evening back down to 40%.

If that rain was scheduled for friday evening i would start kluber game 1. But something to keep an eye on.

Isn't game 3 scheduled for Sunday? They wouldn't take two days off, right? Or do would they not want all of those games on Saturday (our game two plus two NL games)?

Yea, who knows with the weather! Let's hope it changes.....
