2017 Browns Mock Draft Thread

I like Cook & Fournette a lot, but we have much bigger needs. Give me Garrett + Adams/Hooker via trade up. Time to see the Browns get aggressive and grab who they want.

If all the defensive studs are gone before #12 and Fournette is still on the board I'll take him. That means at least two of the top 3 QB's have fallen and that will push more talent up to #33 which could in turn push a QB to our next second rounder.

If the Browns are interested in taking a running back beyond the first round, some interesting names I'd be inclined to see in orange and brown are:

Alvin Kamara - Tennessee (2nd-3rd round range)
Jamaal Williams - BYU (2nd-4th round range)
Elijah Hood - UNC (4th+)

I got to see a ton of Elijah Hood in person this year, I'd be thrilled to get him in the later rounds. I thought he was often the best player on the team, including Alex Trebeksky.

Jeremiah with a classic Didnt Watch the Browns last year pick.

No way in hell they take Cook. And I think Cook is the best RB in the class. But with the talent that was there at 12? No way in hell.

Again, Cook/Fournette are going to be studs in the NFL. Still would like to see Solomon Thomas or a DB at 12 though. We need to continue building our OL as well so at #33 let's grab our boy Forrest Lamp. I love lamp.

I'm torn. I'd love Hooker/Adam at #12 but I doubt they fall there. Also would take Thomas if he is there. I want a CB in the top 4 picks, but I think with the depth you can get insane value at the top of the 2nd or even with the Titans 2nd rounder. Taking blue chip talent, even though it isn't the biggest need isn't the worst thing in the world. Crow is a FA after next season.

I think having a better pass rush should help alleviate some of the pressure on the CBs. That said I think @Los216 is right in that we can get a nice player for our secondary on day 2.

Tankersly and Tre'Davious White would be great additions in the second round. DB is the one position in this draft that we won't have to reach on.
