When I saw the first two games when the schedule was released I did cringe. This was uh...expected.
As I've said the AFC is really, really top heavy and the "parity" that's discussed in the NFL is purely an NFC phenomena at this point. It's what happens when you've had New England find the GOAT in both coach and QB, Pittsburgh find a HOF'er, Baltimore costing off having a great front office, and Dan Marino II slinging it for Denver, Indianapolis respectively.
Baltimore not only drafts well, but can also lure key free agents to play for it's team based on it's overall long standing track record of success. You see who was making plays for them today? Guys like eric weddle for example, or jeremy maclin.
We are...not at that stage. We are just now trying to get a handle on how to draft well, and don't have a track record off success. We were...1 and 15.
I just hate the fact that patience with this team is going to have to be key here
