2017 Cavs Summer League

At least this year the roster isn't made up of Kay Felder and a bunch of D-leaguers. I'm not sure who anyone of these guys are but alot played overseas last year.

I'm kind of on the opposite side of the fence here.....mid 20 somethings who haven't latched on at all in the NBA strike me as wasted roster spots for summer league. Especially undersized guards, which seems to be the entire roster.

I just want high upside young guys with length who you might be able to win the lottery on. The Brandon Paul's of the world just don't get me excited from a development standpoint at all.

Also, Sam Cassell Jr is a 25 year old rookie? Did he get his doctorate?

I definitely would have rather it been Kay Felder and a whole squad of undrafted players straight out of college. Last year it was Kay Felder and the Canton charge, I feel like guys at least develop when they go over to europe. Development in the d-league isn't great and the crop of guys usually isn't the best.

Being half Alien he was required to serve 2 years in his Dad's planet's military.

He would have to make a sizable jump to get either a two way contract or our 15th spot. I don't think he is even close to being a fringe NBA player from how he played last summer league. Hopefully playing in Europe helped him.

He is on our summer league roster so we must have like him a bit. Wonder if we are on the teams trying to sign him to a 2 way contract.

He played in the second tier Israeli league (granted, was a star there) so I don't know how much high level experience he got from overseas.

Obviously gonna be watching Felder and Tavares, but want to get a look at Paul and Malcolm Thomas too.

hoping to see improved court vision from Felder when he gets into the paint. It will be vital if he wants to stick.

How much more cut bait do you want than a guy who isnt under contract nor do we have his exclusive right?

Let me put it this way, me and SirDom are making the exact same amount from the Cavs as a NBA player.
