2017 Cavs Summer League

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
haven't checked in on a summer league game in a while. Is Donny Marshall still playing in those?

Finally, someone else pumped about this guy's ready-made 3&D potential.

He's probably the best player on our roster. He's 6-7 and played PG at Syracuse on his transfer. Weird 4 years probably the reason he wasn't drafted. Definitely Syracuse's best player last year.

I completely agree.

He's stout, a solid athlete, and he's already mature at 24 years old. He's also a very good defender, and a plus shooter. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a guy who's actually ready to contribute in somebody's rotation immediately if the team puts him in a spot to focus on the things he does well.

For all this talk of trading for Danny Green--I think this guy could be the next version of that.

No, but his son Penny Marshall is playing for the Suns.

He is kind of weak on the D side right now but he has great size and is a solid athlete.

I just wish I had any faith in our ability to develop players. He needs real development, skills are undeveloped in terms of defense and some other things, and we have just shown no ability to do that.

Brandon Paul, who is playing for the Cavs in Vegas, did well in Orlando

Brandon Paul, Dallas Mavericks

The 26-year-old guard hasn’t been the least bit shy about getting his shots up from behind the arc. He shot 6-for-10 on 3s and knocked down four of them in a sizzling first quarter against the Thunder to lead the Mavericks to the only perfect record (4-0) in Florida.

Here's hoping Kay has shown improvement. Excited to watch Maker play as well.

Thon maker shouldn't be playing in SL. He was one of the best players on the court in a playoff series his rookie year.

I thought Prather was Liggins for a second :chuckle:

I opened a game thread. Probably was redundant though :D

Paul not getting the ball at all

Kay should've banged that.
