Kay Felder still can't shoot from outside. Probably needs to just put that 3 point shot in his holster and stop taking it out. He's not close on most of these.

I completely agree.

He's stout, a solid athlete, and he's already mature at 24 years old. He's also a very good defender, and a plus shooter. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a guy who's actually ready to contribute in somebody's rotation immediately if the team puts him in a spot to focus on the things he does well.

For all this talk of trading for Danny Green--I think this guy could be the next version of that.

Really happy to know we were the first in the White train.

Also, its only Summer League, but Milwaukee should be embarrassed. They have 4 guys expected to be on their roster(Maker, Vaughn, DJ Wilson - their last three first round picks) and all they can muster is 24 points on the Cavs summer league roster, which has no 1sts and just two guys expected to make the team

He's looking ok. Nice hands. Still needs some polishing. But overall I think he has been doing well.

Ok, so, just one game, but based on just one game, Felder should be like 4 or 5th to make the roster off of the SL squad. White, Tavares, and Prather have shown more. Paul hasn't been bad either.

Prather has all the looks of a guy who can be a total lockdown defensive guard. And unlike Liggins, he showed some real flashes of being an exceptional athlete.

That said Felder has shown some signs. But either his outside shot needs to improve, or he needs to stop shooting it so much. Some of his 3 point attempts weren't even in the ballpark.

There were too many times he wanted to play 1on1 ball instead of running an offense, and again, he just doesn't have the jumper to play that way. But when he'd run the offense, and get into the paint and look for open teammates, he was effective. And he has a pretty easy time getting into the paint.

Felder hasn't been shooting well but the coaching staff tend to ask second year players or players that have been on their roster to work on their weaknesses during summer league. They clearly asked him to work on his 3 point shot. He rarely look to drive and was playing off the ball for large parts of the game.
