2017 Cleveland Indians

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Brantley will just have to be our World Series spark plug, as Schwarber was to the Cubs last year

Its not the same imo. Our depth makes it tough to bring in a guy as cold as he will be. What player in the OF does he need to take time from.

I hope i am not jinxing us, but this year just feels different. This year we really feel like the best team in baseball peaking at the exact right time.

One of the fascinating subplots these final 12 days is the Indians trying Jason Kipnis in center field. Terry Francona said on MLB Radio today that they're not going to break up the current lineup of Jose Ramirez at second and Yandy Diaz at third, so they're giving Kipnis time in center, where he played in college. Of course, Kipnis has to get his stroke back and while it seems risky, this is the team that played Carlos Santana in left field in the World Series.

...

Sounds like Yandy is here to stay at 3rd base. Pretty incredible considering he was in the Minors a couple months ago.

Yeah, no doubt. Shame he got thrown out at 2nd but he ripped off a beauty to right last night. Really wanting him to get that first dinger.

I ripped off a beauty last night as well.

Cupped it in my hand and put it in my dog's face.

worthless comment without pics tbh

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- An East Cleveland man is accused of grinding on an unassuming woman at Progressive Field while the two watched the live postgame show broadcast from the stadium, according to police.

Wayne Harris, 47, is charged with sexual imposition. He was released from the city jail Tuesday on a personal bond.

The incident happened about 4:20 p.m. Sunday after the Indians' 3-2 win over the Royals.

A 37-year-old Elyria woman told police that she walked behind the desk where Sports Time Ohio broadcasts the post-game show live, according to police reports.

Harris stood behind her and inched his way up until he was directly behind her, according to police reports.

Harris then rubbed his groin on her backside, police reports say.

A friend standing next to the 37-year-old woman yelled at Harris, who walked away, police reports say.

A man tracked down a police officer working security at the game. The officer found Harris and arrested him, police reports say.

Was this KI4MVP ?

Everyone got caught up in the streak..

This is going to sound funny in some ways, but I am actually rooting for Minnesota right now since I'd rather face the Twins than the Yankees in round 1 of the playoffs

Jose currently ranks 76th all time for doubles in a season, can move up significantly with the remaining games

Active players with 50+ doubles in a season
-Matt Carpenter
-Dustin Pedroia
-Jonathan Lucroy
-Miguel Cabrera x2
-Alex Gordon
-Manny Machado
-Albert Pujols x3
-Matt Holiday

Only Miggy, Machado, and Pujols did it at 24 y/o or younger

With 51 doubles, Jose now tied for 53rd All-Time

Is it meaningful to be 53rd at anything?

I'm fairly certain I'm 53rd at SOMETHING.
