Are playoff rosters submitted for each round or are they submitted for the entire playoffs?

Is it crazy to put Brantley on the playoff roster?

Really comes down to Tito and the staff's faith in Brantley. I'm confident he'll come back strong at the plate, but how will he look in the OF and running bases? Is he worth more as purely a PH over another spot going to a reliever?

Now they need to win 2 more and have LAD lose two more to clinch throughout WS.

Personally, I don't think this will matter as I don't expect them to make it to the WS. Tribe with home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

On plan for Michael Brantley (activated from DL):

“He went out and did his baserunning today and did well. Now, what we’re going to do is — I just grabbed him a little bit ago — we’ll wait until he cools down and gets his treatment, icing and everything, and then I want to sit and talk with him. Part of my, I don’t know if anxiety is the right words, but he’s trying so hard to be a part of what we’re doing. And I just want to talk to him at length, because he’s got a career ahead of himself. I just want to make sure that we’re not putting him in a spot that isn’t right. So, we’re going to talk for a little bit. That’s kind of where we left it and I think he was comfortable with that, too.”

On wanting to make sure Brantley’s not rushing:

“Yeah, yeah, because he’s tried so hard, and I’ve seen it. Believe me, we appreciate what he’s trying to do, but I just want to talk to him, and in-depth. So, we’ll do that a little later on.”

Asked if Brantley will play this weekend:

“I just told you what I’m going to do. That was my answer. We activated him, but the next step is I really want to visit with him.”
