2017 Cleveland Indians

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Anyone else feel like they've already told Brantley he isn't making the ALDS roster, and that they're not going to pick up the option?

Really sad.

He might not make the postseason roster due to his health, but there's no way they aren't picking up his option

I understand the splits say Carrasco has been quite a bit better on the road v. at home, but any decision that only allows a 5.6 WAR starter to pitch one time in a 5 game series...

I just can't get behind that.

Tito got a team to the WS last year whose rotation consisted of Corey Kluber and The Bullpen Days. I have a feeling he will figure out how to handle having a healthy Carrasco and productive Bauer. Playoff baseball is different- bullpens go deeper. Having two quality pitchers available for more games (Clev and Salazar) is a logical move. Does anyone know how he handled his BoSox teams?

There was a season where he stuck them in the locker room and forced them to eat fried chicken and beer.

I kinda trust Tito (and Callaway) on this one...

That wasnt a WS team. He laissez faire attitude hasnt lost the clubhouse here.

Has anyone seen if the playoff roster has been actually announced?

I wonder if they ever do percentage of tickets sold rather than the actual amount of tickets since the Stadium has a smaller actual capacity than it did during the 90s

I'm 99.99999% certain this will be how the postseason roster shakes out:

Catchers- Yan Gomes, Roberto Perez (2)
Infielders- Carlos Santana, Edwin Encarnacion, Jose Ramirez, Francisco Lindor, Yandy Diaz, Giovanny Urshela (6)
Outfielders- Jay Bruce, Austin Jackson, Jason Kipnis, Lonnie Chisenhall, Michael Brantley, Greg Allen (6)
Pitchers- Corey Kluber, Carlos Carrasco, Trevor Bauer, Josh Tomlin, Mike Clevinger, Danny Salazar, Andrew Miller, Cody Allen, Bryan Shaw, Joe Smith, Tyler Olson (11)

@Out of the Rafters at the Q, not sure why you found this post funny, but the only mistake I made in my prediction was choosing Diaz over Gonzalez. Everything else was accurate.
