PECOTA projections came out today...have the Indians winning 92 games, 3rd best in baseball behind the Dodgers and Astros, and winning the AL Central by 12 games.

As is the case with most projections, you should always give or take 5 or so games in each direction...keep in mind these numbers are the average marks for numerous runs through their system, and can change drastically with who is still available through trade/free agency.

Arizona to agree? Find a 3rd team that wants to rent Santana, have that team send a prospect or two to AZ, then add in Zimmer and McKenzie depending on what the 3rd team gives up. The DBacks should expect and get a ransom for a superstar on a reasonable deal under team control for 3 more years.
