2017 Cleveland Indians

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yeah I don't think anyone has ever even slightly criticized Lindor let alone called him horrible

I guess you can throw that in the fire pit with everything else :chuckle:

As far as I know, Santana sucks, it's evident right now, he's a very annoying player to cheer for, Bauer has his issues, Tomlin, that's like the 3 players that gets flack around here. If you now wanna throw in Salazar, you can, he's been horrendous. Can't forget about Gomes, but he's really playing his ass off this year. Credit goes to him.

But come on, Lindor, horrible? Nobody in their right mind will say that, and I never heard it here. Does he have a few horrible ABs nowadays, maybe.

Ok, who says Lindor is horrible?

No one saying horrible, he is just learning that giving up getting on base to improve power is not always the best idea.

Dodgers just ran a double steal beautifully and stole home.

Not redundant when you play in the AL, IMO...

I think we will miss Santana more than people think if we lose him...some will be happy to see him go though, which I won't and will never get. Not exactly easy to replace a .360 OBP and 20+ HR a year switch hitter, but apparently to some it will be...

And yes, attendance is embarassing. But again, you can't bring it all back in one season, or even 2 or 3. Need to get it trending in the right direction, and it is, which is good.

Couple that in with leading the league in TV ratings right now, and the interest in the team is there...just need to figure a way to draw more of those TV viewers to the game, which I suspect they will now that the weather has broke and the Cavs are done.

More concerned with them winning more games, to be honest, than attendance.

I will definitely miss Santana if he leaves. I just don't think he's that good but it's not like I think he's useless.

I know I don't post in here much, more of a lurker in the Indians threads, but honestly who really cares if we fall below .500 today. Yeah, we were supposed to be this power hitting, every starting pitcher getting 10 K's/game, our defense is as solid as a female bodybuilders yams, but we are literally only fucking 2 games back outta 1st place in the AL Central.

I don't give a fuck if we make October only winning 83 games, we still made it and then anything can happen. We know we have the lineup and rotation to match anyone, we just haven't hit a stride yet.

I mean last year we were 35-30 on this date. Is that really a shit ton better than what we have right now?

This team is too good on paper to keep doing what they are doing. We are playing .500 ball with half our hitters in a slump. The question is how can Francona get this team out of the slump they are in? This is where we miss a Napoli in a locker room, so hopefully the current guys can make up the slack

fantastic series. Looks like double E has arrived for sure. Carasco pitched pretty well, as did Baurer. Lindor showing some life.

Two games down to two games up. Now hopefully they can pad this lead, get on a roll and get some breathing room.

Guys.

Nobody was ever worried about our place in the division.

Well, the Indians should be able to win the division. There just isn't a team that seems to be able to put any pressure on them. But, yeah, I get more concerned over how they actually play. Granted, it is mid June and how they play in October is more important. But, it was nice to see them sweep the Twins. I will give credit where it is due there.
