I can only imagine the other questionable life choices that member has made over the years, but his dedication to the team should be saluted. In order to escape the inevitable Indian Summer of Mediocrity at this point, I'm open for business on taking a liner up the middle if that's the spark our ball club needs.

Michael Brantley and Brandon Guyer reinstated from the Disabled List today. Daniel Robertson and Shawn Armstrong optioned to AAA. Bittersweet, really...

Guyer is a better player than Robertson, who is honestly just a hard working scrappy player. It will be nice to have Brantley back in the lineup since he is usually a good hitter with people on base.

You are right- Brandon Guyer has as much moxie, grit and sticktoitiveness as Robertson I give you that. Robertson, though, has much more spunk, pluck and true quicks than Guyer. Like I said, bittersweet- glad to have them back but sucks to lose Robertson. Maybe after AZ's suggested name change/conversion to SS he can come back as a utility guy.

This is a mediocre team period.

Can't disagree even though I really want too, but I have no backup of facts. Urban showed the numbers, proof is there, unless they figure things out which isn't out of question by any means. More else, I can see a turnaround even though my posting seems like I don't.

Good on the road, bad at home, mediocre is the word to use as of now.

Also, not a goddamn rally in ages, they have to just start playing baseball again. Seems like they press a little bit now late in close games, the ineffectiveness is in their heads.

Chris Gimenez talked about punching the bully in the mouth prior to Friday, well, they swept the bully with a push broom.

This team last year late in games was cooler than the other side of the pillow. They definitely seem to fold offensively. Hopefully Brantley and a refurbished Guyer can bring some of that mojo back.
