Which guys do you feel need to be protected from the rule 5/added to the 40 man roster next season since they could help the team next season?

That, and they're starting to load up on some monster sized teenagers who have huge power potential.

Mark Shapiro also deserves an assload of credit for what is currently going on with the Indians franchise...

Also, as if their hitting prospects could get better, they are infusing the farm with maybe the best left-handed swinging teen I've seen in a while...just enjoy...

After reading up on him and watching him, he is Robinson Cano. And a bunch of scouts keep mentioning its like watching Cano.

But same kind of background; spent a few years in the states like Cano, already fluent in English like Cano was, similar swing mechanics, same penchant for making something hard like hitting a baseball look easy.

He's only 15/16 in that video too...he's only 16 right now.

Stuff out there of him going yard with a wood bat at MLB stadiums as a 13/14 year old.

From a where they are starting from standpoint, I don't think they've brought in a hitting prospect like this in a long, long time.

Seems like the Indians had pretty good luck awhile back with a Dominican outfielder that spent some years in NYC as a youth.

Well I guess I will use this thread for now, the AAA part of the Rule 5 was today, the Indians lost a couple guys but added a LHP. Names will be updated when I can get the correct info lol

Grabbed Robert Orlan.

All pretty insignificant moves.

Outside of Orlan being a lefty, is there anything good about him/any potential going forward?

Hell of a swing and a hell of a sound off the bat for a 16 year old...

Between him and Valera, Indians did just fine without a 1st round pick this year as far as replenishing their high ceiling cupboard goes.
