Will be interesting to see how their OF situation shakes out.

Pederson/Puig/Ethier/Toles/Van Slyke/Thompson/Hernandez/Gutierrez all have a solid amount of MLB experience with varying degrees of success. Not all of those guys make the opening day roster. Luckily they still have guys with options.

This doesn't even account for the fact that one of the best prospects in baseball, 1B/OF Cody Bellinger, could be in line for some OF playing time as well if he starts hot in AAA.

@AZ_ I know he was pretty damn good with the Dodgers before his Tommy John...what's the deal with him, since you are Mr. Dodger? Still only 25. Seems crazy that he's getting released...something missing with him?

All I know about him is he doesn't throw all that hard, but his slider is a plus pitch and everything he throws moves...

But worth a flier, or no?

I honestly haven't seen him throw since the Tommy John, but the Braves releasing him can't be a great sign.

Great dude, would really fit in well as a reclamation project but doesn't necessarily have a great a chance here as he would elsewhere.

With Miller, Logan, Crockett, Speer and others in the system he might see more opportunity elsewhere. But the dev system would be a great fit.

But man, in a farm that lacks upper level LH reliever arms that can make an MLB impact, I wouldn't mind taking a flier. Especially if he shows interest in a system that can get him back to where he was and just wants to focus on that, not making an impact at the MLB level right away...
