I think cursed is a bit strong, Bagley doesn't seem like he's going to be anything close to a bust. He probably won't ever have the same type of impact as Jaren or Luka but I think he'll be more than productive enough for the pick to not leave too sour of an aftertaste.

Not a bust, but Bagley is looking exactly how most of us thought he would. A guy who puts up numbers, but not much else.

I'm not writing off the young man, that'd be silly, but so far the results have backed up what was seen in college.

Yeah I'm not dogging on Bagley whose numbers really aren't that bad but the two guys after him (without people laughing) are being compared to a young Bird and young KG respectively.

There has been something of a #1 pick curse in recent years. Bennett, Wiggins, Fultz...obviously KAT and Simmons are working out though. (Although Simmons still has not hit a single three-pointer in 3500+ minutes of NBA play).

Ayton's defense still a work in progress:

Lakers defense is weak AF! No Randle in the paint. Their fault for trading Julius Randle.

You mean Nance?

They have too many guards now. They got rid of Lance and Randle. They are experimenting with Kuz at the 4 and 5. They got old Chandler for that reason to help out the interior. But against the Nuggets Milsap was carving em down low. At least Randle and Lance would of held their own down there.

This team is on Magic for trading their young core.

Russell is balling in the nets.
Randle is still a beast.

Fair point...was gonna say Randle isn't a very good defender, but yeah, Kuzma is even worse.

Randle would have looked cool with Lebron I think.

Like...he hasn't lived up to the hype, but you can't say a guy who has been a starter his entire time in the league and was good enough to warrant a max extension is a "curse."

Bennett and Fultz, ok.

yeah the Supermax makes things look a lot worse though. Who is a worse player that has gotten a Supermax? Jon Wall? Hard to say.

Also, Doncic just had back-to-back blocks on LeBron but I didn't get to see it because ESPN is once again too dumb to put Mavs-Lakers on national TV.

And then he went and had probably his worse game of the year. I guess those blocks just took to much out of him...By the way LeBron posted 28 with a win.
