Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Important game happening right now...need a Hornets win to keep them in the playoff race going into their matchup with the Cavs on Tuesday.

Suns Mavs as the last game is huge. Mavs will be without Luka and trying to lose anyway to help their draft pick. Suns win and cavs lose and cavs guarantee no worse than 5th pick right?

Well good news, the Hornets won.

They're going to come to play on Tuesday

6th is worst spot if at 2 before the drawing with top 4 spots up for lottery grab instead of just 3 in the past.
Pretty sure Charlotte owns all tie breakers so as the above poster noted, they are definitely still in the playoff hunt after they won today
and they won against the team in Detroit that holds one of the two potential spots left. If Charlotte beat Cavs they will have the same record as Detroit w/ Orlando 1 game up on both. Although Detroit has NY and Memphis after that so Charlotte will have to hope Orlando doesn't pull off the upset against Boston, and if not Charlotte plays Orlando in the last game of the season for rights to the 8th seed.
I don't see Miami being a player for the 8th after the loss today as they have 76ers and Nets to finish the season.
what does all this rambling mean for the Cavs, not much except Charlotte is going to be coming to play and the Cavs are in the way

better chance Cavs end up at #3-#6 than #1 or #2. Think we need to be mentally prepared for those tier 3 guys. Barrett and Culver are my choices of that group. I think I lean RJ because of the more pure shot and better athletic ability, but if the athletic ability were equal I'd probably like Culver more because his BBIQ seems exceptionally high.

If we got lucky and got Zion and I don't think we will, suddenly the Cavs have a call to action. The focus will be on Cleveland and we have to think about everything planning and roster wise. The same thing but to a lesser degree with Morant.
With any other pick it'll be business as usual.

These guys seem to think that staying in the top 6 picks makes a difference this year. They don't have many guys in the top 3 tiers.

TIER 1
Zion Williamson
TIER 2
Ja Morant
TIER 3
Jarrett Culver
Brandon Clarke
R.J. Barrett
Cam Reddish

It's one thing to have Clarke #4 and Reddish #6...I certainly don't agree with it, but I'm not surprised that some people feel that way. But to say that they're a whole tier above the rest of the lottery guys is a bit crazy.

If we tie for 2nd worst record with PHX who owns the tie breaker?
