They get the ball over HC at 18 second mark of the shot clock, 2-4 seconds of one on one offense is somewhat defensible.What we should do is have Sexton or Harrison run a play and if it doesn't develop in the first 14-16 seconds, kick it out to Clarkson and let him do his thing.
I think they just need to keep a tighter wrap on Clarkson, don't let him freewheel too much, but let him do it from time to time.
Minny kind of showed how to handle him, just blitz the screen and roll and make him a passer further from the hoop. If he was a willing enough as a passer, Clarkson could simply pass out of it, cut hard and find himself in favorable positions for the feed from time to time. Jordan doesn't seem to like passing it unless he thinks it's an assist.
