2018 Browns Free Agent Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think people are really overplaying the character concerns on players when it comes to John Dorsey. I'm not saying he doesn't give a shit but he kind of doesn't give a shit.

I mean he drafted Tyreek Hill. That should tell us all we really need to know.

If this team was contending, i could see it happening. As it is, no way he comes here vs a contender, and I don't see it really benefiting this team to go paying him gobs of money to consider here.

If most of it is this year, why not? Great insurance in case Gordon goes to a Ziggy Marley concert...

I don’t know how many more free agents they’re really going to bring in at this point.

Maybe Pryor? Maybe another corner?

I'll take Suh, Richardson, or Reid

Not sure if I see a fit there on any of those guys.

That’s not to say they couldn’t play here. I just think Suh and Richardson both seem to be looking for more winning situations.

Reid probably is only looking going to a place where he’d start and they seem to have pegged Randall for the FS spot.

Eric Reid is a Strong Safety. Probably top 5 in the league at his position too.

Strong safety’s who can’t cover are becoming obsolete. We already have one. We don’t need another.

Melvin would be my choice. Beef up our secondary.

I’d obviously love to have suh but I don’t see that happening.

Honey badger hasn’t been the same for like 2 years. But if we could get him on a reasonable deal I’d be happy to have him.

Pryor would be by top offensive choice. He Gordon Landry and njoku would be terrifying to cover.

My error on the position. SS is, however, even deeper than FS on this team.

Plus Eric Reid might be low key being blackballed for his anthem kneeling.

Not sure how much money they really want to throw into the cornerback spot after Carrie, but Fuller or Gaines could potentially be CB1s that are still available.

But they're both... bad.

Kindred was bad as a rookie, an abomination to all sports really. Last year he was decent. That was the sharpest double edged sword on the team... Sashi skipping out on any free safety at all while Peppers underwhelmed and Kindred making a better than expected jump in year two.

However this is the part where I remind everyone the offense created the 0-16 season from hell. As much of a mess as the safety position was from a strategic standpoint, the defense was almost playoff quality overall.
