Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Kind of getting concerned that Urban just throws up his hands and walks in the midst of this trash before anything is finalized.

Nah....Urban isn’t leaving voluntarily with all those kids he recruited to Columbus, their parents who he promised he’d take care of them, and letting his reputation get ripped apart.

I don’t know what the investigative team concludes, but Urban isn’t going down without a fight. Herman being the likely source of McMurphy’s report doesn’t change anything, IMO.

Why does anyone believe Jeff Snook? I don't mean that in a combative nature.....I'm curious why anyone unequivocally believes either one of these guys given how different the two stories are. They are both presenting info that seems contradictory to the other.

Additionally, Herman is denying it and it seems like something (trying to out a source like this) that unnecessarily throws gasoline on a dying fire. What is there to gain for anyone involved for heading down the Herman road? Without Snook having actual proof that Herman or his wife was responsible?

The whole thing is just a total shit show now. What was the targeted date to wrap this up? Seems like there are a ton of moving parts here to nail an investigation down a week from now.....wasn't that roughly the intended date?

All the investigation is really concerned with is did OSU follow the proper protocols. Whether or not Tom Herman tipped off McMurphy seems urrelevant to their investigation.

Because two of his sources have corroborated his reports (Zach Smith’s Mom, and Courtney’s own Mom).

If it were just Zach’s Mom, it’d be one thing. The fact he got Courtney’s Mom to confirm what Zach’s Mom alleged is powerful.

Not too mention the Hermans have confirmed they did in fact give Courtney money in 2017. His report has already been confirmed by multiple people in his reporting.

Snook needs his sources from yesterday's story to go on record to prove it's true. Or he needs damning evidence provided from them. Or else it will die pretty quickly.

Lol, Urban is still on leave almost 2 weeks later despite there being zero actual proof that he did anything wrong. What was there to gain for everyone leading a witch hunt against him?

Oh yeah. He's Urban Meyer, the head coach of Ohio State.

This Tom Herman story would be huge if it's true. It'd likely cost him his job and he'd deserve it. No kid is going to want to play for a guy like that. No parent would send their kid to play for a guy like that.

I agree with this. I think he put the Herman story out too quickly without the evidence or named sources to back it up. Giving the money to Courtney is real interesting but without other evidence or named sources, it's pretty much just a theory/rumor and seems like a reach. If he is holding on to evidence to get Herman into a got you moment like McMurphy has been doing then he is just as bad as McMurphy.

My biggest problem with McMurphy has been not giving full and honest reporting. I think Snook's first story was a counter story that provided a fuller and more honest view of the Zach Smith story. This Herman story though just feels like it isn't fully vetted and confirmed.

It's odd because Snook said in multiple interviews on Friday that he doesn't like publishing a story without having his sources on the record. And then he went and did just that on Saturday. Obviously, it's a huge story, so maybe he just couldn't help it. He needs to go back and put on the full court press to get them on the record, though. Of course, there's not a whole lot of people who could verify that story, and they'd all be close to Tom Herman...

I agree it was real odd that Snook released the story as it was. He was definitely talking about the ethics and standards of reporting the day before. I hope for his sake he can prove the story in a more substantial way. I think if he doesn't, alot of people will just lump him into the poor reporting of McMurphy.

Tom Herman and his wife have big big big mouths and they LOVE to be in contact with the media.

I know that Tom and Michelle Herman were sources for certain Ohio State football writers.

And if you wrote or tweeted anything critical of Tom, you were getting a call from drunk Michelle.

Another story related to the Ohio State - Zach Smith matter is coming this afternoon ..

On and on we go

are there components to his claims that still need verified/confirmed? This is becoming ridiculous and it’s difficult to track the bullet points.

That attorney summary was really good content though.
