2018 Cleveland Browns Training Camp

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Lol, I feel like those anti football guy posters want the team to fail so bad so they can still carry on the buddy boy football guy bullshit.

I don't care who's in office, I just want the damn thing to turnaround. If you're so good, you'd be up there in the executive suite.

welp we're at the point where you can't criticize a clearly poor decision to rely on a guy who is a total chump without being asked to apply for the role of GM

Time will only tell with this Coleman situation. Guy was pondering his career a few days ago.

Let's not forget that Haley ripped into him earlier in camp.

Some kind of issue was clearly there.

He was next to getting released by the Cleveland Browns. There's no lower than that.

There's a good chance Coleman flames out. I don't think it's a certainty or anything, but my bigger issue is with shipping him out and then Browns mouthpieces citing maturity/locker room concerns etc. but then at the same time relying on Calloway and Gordon.

Can’t imagine agents love that too much

Ok, fine, let's use facts:

9.5 TFL and 7 sacks in 11 games and playing on a defense with no secondary.

The guy was absolutely a freak of nature when he was on the field. If you have to question if Garrett is an impact player, then give up and stop watching football.

Garrett is poised, if healthy, to be a top edge defender as soon as this year.

If you can’t even “get close” to the QB rushing against a lifelong LG switched to LT there’s a little cause for concern.

But hey let’s personally attack and call other people stupid that seems productive.

I think it's all just heresay when it comes to camp.

Remember last year Kizer looked like a savvy vet during camp and was forcing Hue's hand he was playing so well

I think that a tweet meant to pump Bitonio up a bit made Garrett look worse in the process. At the end of the day the amount of value I take from pretty much any camp recap from our glorious beat writers is next to none.

In a vacuum I agree with you, but I just don't think it's as big of a deal as it was made to sound

Players have a lot of wear on their tires even by the time they get to the NFL; it wouldn’t bother me too much to know that players — and teammates mind you — take it easy on each other a bit in that 5-6th padded practice when preseason is around the corner and there’s the increased risk of getting sidelined by a guy going 100 mph because he’s trying to make a roster.

Sorry man, there’s evidence of his production and plenty of video representation for that timeless eye test. Come a real NFL game — especially early in the season — I’ll put money on Garrett abusing or at least adequately producing against the average tackle.

Maybe so

But when you get shipped because of character concerns from a team with Credit Card Fraud McGee and Josh Gordon then the very next day Calloway pulls this dumb shit then yeah, it's a pretty shit look for the Browns, whether you think Coleman has talent or not.

Well, I said the Browns deserve this.

That is why.

I also think Coleman has talent.

Just don't believe he has a future. Especially considering where he went.

Get this feeling too, on occasion, but I'm sure they mean the best.

People were literally not even 24 hours ago beating their chest about being right that Coleman didn’t work out, same people that made that observation (weird!).

I’d love for Dorsey to stop this revolving nonsense and stabilize this shithole franchise. This was objectively a horribly timed series of events for him. I can’t imagine anyone would argue that

Yeah we just sat through two years of half the people here rooting for Sashi to fail. Now they're flipping the script? GTFOutta here.

Don't think anyone hoped for Sashi to fail, but they were certainly merciless with him after he left.

That's just fabricating shit.

So who is hoping Dorsey fails?

He said sometimes he feels that some people feel that way with the way they sarcastically quip "football guy" and shit.

I said sometimes I think so too.

I'm sure everyone wants the Browns to be good. But I think some people also like being "right."
