2018 College Football Season/Playoff Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yeah now that they have a kinda cushy lead they are out here going wild. Interesting.

Michigan respects OSU. They don’t respect MSU.

OSU rivalry is very heated but MSU made it very personal over the years. They have been repeatedly flagged for cheap penalties and I think Michigan has had enough of them in a lot of respects.

Pre game, MSU’s players were cutting in to Michigan’s warmup, talking shit. I don’t feel sorry for teams that do that and then get a little extra as the game gets out of hand.

All in all it was a bit of a dissapoiniting game. Michigan should have won 35 or 42 to 0.....but a win is a win.

Oh I know. There's a handful of absurdly dirty plays over the years that Sparty did to you guys...most notably coming from William Gholston.

As for the warmup, was that before or after Bush was at midfield scraping up the field?

And yeah, you guys were way, way better than them. That game never should have been remotely close. Also, you really should use Patterson's legs a LOT more. Not having any designed QB runs in the playbook is a travesty.

The Game this year is going to be crazy if you guys come in 10-1.

Michigan players were out on their side of the field stretching and going through mental reps prior to the game.

Michigan State does some arm in arm linked walk pre game? Honestly had never seen it before.

They walked through the Michigan side of the field and instead of going around Bush, effectively attempted to closeline him as they walked by. That is what prompted him to scuff the logo with his cleats.

Harbaugh said post game that Dantonio was 5 yards behind the team laughing that they were walking through the handful of Michigan players that were out early. Guy is such a clown.

I’m not sure they still know how to use Patterson. They just get ultra conservative on offense during stretches. Like they are almost afraid to screw it up for the Michigan defense. If they want to beat someone like OSU, they need to figure out how to be more consistent on offense.

If psu loses, they might not make a bowl

Holy shit Indiana just recovered an onside kick

The Pedsters are choking

Northwestern gonna win the B1G West

Texas losing is very good.

Just need Oklahoma to lose again and the Big 12 is out.

It's just gonna be the same thing as last year.

This one awful OSU loss is gonna mean the SEC gets two teams in before OSU gets in.

If LSU beats Alabama next week, it's curtains.

Alabama will get in over OSU and then whoever wins the SEC between LSU and Kentucky/Georgia.

Everybody should be big Bama fans this weekend. They’ll probably choke against the first actual team they play all year and screw us again though.

Would be real cool if Notre Dame or Clemson could pull an epic choke job.

You're right, it is the same as last year. We, again, need Bama to handle their shit. If they do that, we're in great shape. If they lose again like last year, we're fucked.

Ranked games this week:

UGA @ Kentucky - Winner actually clinches SEC East. Which will almost assuredly be Georgia.

West Virginia @ Texas - Texas has a pretty manageable schedule the rest of the way, so a win here and I think it's likely they play Oklahoma again in the B12CG.

Penn State @ Michigan - If Mcsorely isn't 100%, Penn St has no shot.

Alabama @ LSU - Even if LSU wins, you know Bama is making the playoff.

Other games -

Pitt @ UVA - Believe it or not, UVA and Pitt are tied with Va Tech for first in the ACC Coastal. Both team still play Va Tech as well. But imagine if Texas and UVA make their respective championship games. Indiana and Maryland would've beaten CCG teams.

Iowa @ Purdue - Glad to see Iowa not drop after losing. Iowa still has a good shot to win the West.

ND @ NW - After losing at home to Akron and Duke, NW now is ahead of everyone in the B1G West. They still have Iowa. This might be the best teams ND has left.

Oklahoma @ TTech - It's the B12, so who knows.

Stanford @ Washington - Neither team is ranked, which I don't think anyone saw coming.

Cal @ Wazzu - Wazzu still hanging around.

Texas AM @ Auburn - Winner is probably top 5 next week.
