I’m done with thinking Northwestern will be good. I’ve overrated Fitzgerald.
That West division though, ick. Wisconsin should come away with it but, I don’t know.
The B1G is pretty garbage this year, especially the West.
Northwestern and Purdue are the only ones who have played a conference game, so the standings out there don't mean a ton right now, so I'm just going to go by overall W-L.
T1) Minnesota | 3-0 (W vs. NM State, Fresno State, Miami OH)
-- struggled with Fresno 21-14 at home
-- play games
@Ohio State and @Wisconsin
T1) Iowa | 3-0 (W vs. Northern Illinois, Iowa State, Northern Iowa)
-- second best team in the B1G West in my opinion
-- have a HUGE home game versus Wisconsin this weekend at 8:30 PM which could have huge implications in the winner of that division
-- play @Penn State on October 27th
-- my predicted record for them right now is 10-2 with losses to Wisky and PSU, but if they slip by UW this weekend, watch out
T3) #18 Wisconsin | 2-1 (W vs. Western KY, New Mexico, L vs. #25 BYU)
-- I've got them as the most talented team out West as of now, even with the loss to BYU
-- rough schedule the rest of the way IMO, as they've got away games @Iowa, @Michigan, and @Penn State; which I can't see them getting through unscathed
T3) Illinois | 2-1 (W vs. Kent State, Western IL, L vs. South Florida)
-- these guys blow and have at least four more losses on the schedule as of now
5) Northwestern | 1-2 (W @ Purdue, L vs. Duke, Akron)
-- these guys also blow and play Michigan State and Michigan the next two weeks; also have later season matchups against Notre Dame and Wisconsin - complete non-factor
Nebraska and Purdue are both winless so far and are complete garbage. Buckeyes have them both on the schedule, @Purdue on 10/20 and vs. Nebraska on 11/3.
If Wisconsin goes down this weekend @Iowa, there could be complete bedlam out there between Iowa, Wisconsin, and
maybe Minnesota. This side of the conference is really fucking bad though.
