Yeah, I mean they'll look at the entire resume but it is a bit alarming to not be dominating at home against WMU. Did Luck have any similar underwhelming performances at Stanford when playing against MAC level(maybe WAC in his case) competition?

Its almost like the 2018 QB class is overrated and 2017 was not a wise class to pass on.

Thank god they lucked into Kizer.

Watching the ND game, Kizer is on the sidelines with his ex-teammates as a guest of the athletic director. Wanted to see Equamerious St. Brown, but Wimbush is going to drive me nuts this year. He's a one read then run type QB. St. Brown did have a beautiful 30+ yard catch so far.

I asked about ESB, was told it's someone that would prob be there in the 2nd-3rd round and few guys a little better. Cobb from Indiana was one of them.

Mahonnes, Watson, Trubisky all look solid.

thank god again at least the Browns took a stab at one of them. Imagine having to deal with THAT conversation all up until draft night next year. hell, that might have cost this regime their job had they not.

Cobbs looked great Thursday night. I had forgotten about him since he was out for the season last year.

Watching a little Texans, Watson isn't that great right now. If he were, he would be starting over Savage.

I'd say Watson has the worst out of all the top drafted rookie QBs by a pretty wide margin. He made two throws in his last game that should have been pretty awful interceptions, and his accuracy has been very erratic all preseason. Obviously a lot can change, but as Keys said he's definitely nowhere near ready.

Haven't noticed him in coverage yet, but Derwin James looks amazing when being used on the line/blitzing.

Good thing is St Brown may be over looked by some teams because he is going to get fewer targets. Maybe you get him in round 2.

Way too early on both of these statements to be sincere

Its really not.

Allen has been horribly inaccurate since day one. He also is flat out bad against power 5 schools.

I know Darnold has been getting super hyped, but hr has a horrid throwing motion and can be inaccurate as well. Now I think hes a much better prospect than Allen, but thats more an indictment on Allen than anything else.

Lamar Jackson is the best QB in this class, and I will stick to that until I am blue in the face. He makes throws that the other top guys simply cannot.

I like Luke Falk, but he is probably a little too weak armed to really be that franchise guy. Rudolph has a very high floor, but he looks to be a near finished product.

My point is that people were hyping up the 2018 class as mythical and for a reason to pass on guys in 2017. You could see coming from a mile away that 2018 was not going to be that mythical class thag it was being hyped up to be. Honestly, right now, Im not sure I would take any of these prospects in the top ten.

Here I 100% agree with you. But it happens literally every year. Remember the 2017 draft class was hyped up the year before as a reason to not take Wentz. It's some weird valuation method where anyone who is coming out gets ripped to shreds under the finest magnifying glass possible and anyone staying in school gets a complete pass on their flaws by most.

However these guys have a full season to show us improvements. Darnold especially I think just had a bad game. His bowl game was just such a magnificent performance I almost started to tear up watching it. Definitely looking forward to watching more of him this season.

And now Rosen...

Whole class died in the first weekend :chuckle:

Yewh Rosen looks trashy.
