I wouldn't be surprised if they somehow put Tomlin on the playoff roster lmao.

Dodgers, Brewers, Rockies all up 2-0 early

Cubs down 0-2 early

(Deleted a bunch from my original post thinking that tiebrreaker game applied to homefield for the World Series . Updated to reflect my bad assumption)

Indians would have homefield in the World Series over Braves , Rockies , and Dodgers but not against the Cubs or Brewers . The good news is that the brewers and cubs will be on the same side of one bracket so at best only one will make it to the LCS .

Said this before, Indians would have home field in the ALCS if the As or Yankees beat Boston.

Edit: just found out the tie breaker games does not apply to home field even though the statistics count for the regular season.

I will say the losers of the tiebreaker games have a tough road to haul. They will need to play tomorrow and then Tuesday in a straight up elimination game only to get one day off before playing two straight games in NLDS. That is essentially 4 playoff games in 5 days. It will be fascinating to see how the managers handle the starting pitchers . They will certainly earn their pay over the next week.

Tiebreaker games now instead of looking at head-to-head record? Didn’t know this was a thing. Seems unfair, just like the wildcard game.

It is.

Playing a game, to play a game, to get into the playoffs. Travel included.

Yelich is an absolutely crazy tear out there
