Wow, I knew Oakland was bullpening this Wild Card game but they're only carrying 1 starter (Edwin Jackson) who will only be available should the game go to extras. Surprised they left off Fiers.

A-Rod just spent five hours referring to Bud Black as either "Buddy Bell" or "Buddy Black..." Like, so frequently that I was googling when the fuck Bud Black stopped going by Bud.

He didn't. ESPN is just horrendous at everything.

A-Rod was definitely lit throughout the entire broadcast. He even made weird grunts at one point.

Simply don't understand how the A's won 97 games this year.

They had one guy (Manaea) pitch over 150 innings this season. Only three guys total over 100 innings. They're running a damn bullpen game in a winner take all (and already losing because of it). All five of the Indians starters were over 100 innings and our top-4 all pitched more than Manaea.

Very good lineup and a deep/great pen.

All they needed was 4-5 solid innings from a starter in order to finish a game.
