Gotcha what was he at before all the injuries? I don't remember what his velocity was at but I know when we got him he was a pretty good looking prospect.

29:2 K:BB in 19.2 IP across 3 levels so far. Hopefully next year they can stretch him out to be a multi-inning weapon.

I know they are limiting workloads because these guys just finished full college seasons.

If his September callup goes well, I wouldn't mind seeing him replace Neil Ramirez on the playoff roster...

He made it to the big league club the second season out of college and cause of that it gave him an extra option year as well. Sadly he hasn't panned out, not sure what exactly happened to him though in some ways.

Carlos Vargas.... really impressive.

He touched 100 this outing but I was more impressed by his breaking ball than anything else.
