2018 NBA Draft - June 21

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Just noticed that Doncic was named ACB League MVP a few days ago. He's the first player to be win Euroleague MVP, Euroleague Final Four MVP, and ACB League MVP in the same season. If he leads Real to the ACB League title (they advanced to the semis today), this will have to go down as one of the greatest seasons in European basketball history.

ESPN released a new mock.

Mitchell Robinson all the way down to #33. I'm pretty confident the personality questions I've mentioned is the culprit.

While I still think someone takes a shot on him first round, the guy wouldn't even be on my draft board.

Boston working hard to trade up for the #1 guy on my board :(

Best center prospect in this draft is Mo Bamba, and Ainge & Stevens getting their hands on him would be a game changer.

They have the assets to make it happen.

Yeah, I fucking hate this. So fucking much.

He is my favorite player in the draft in terms of personality and overall likability. I really wouldn't wanna to hate him/root againt him just because he is a Celtic. Fuck them.

I really hope it doesn't happen.

I have Jackson over Bamba, but Bamba is my #2.

If any of these top 5 teams is willing to trade their pick all the way to the goddamn Celtics at 27 they better demand a king's ransom. The whole damn war chest.

And even then, turn them down. Fuck Boston man.

Jaylen Brown, #27, and the 2019 SAC pick probably gets them #4 (MEM) or #5 (DAL) easy.

Fuck, I could even see Atlanta or Sacramento biting on that package. Maybe not SAC, but ATL particularly if it they can get BOS to take back the Schroeder or Bazemore atrocities for filler (Morris, Rozier?).

I think Brown's development this season was overshadowed by Tatum's presence. He's really freaking good...

I believe Brown is a system player, but oh well.

Celtics would be much better going forward with a trade like this. A guy like Bamba has potential to make Lebron's life at the rim a living nightmare.

Fun fact: 14 players in NBA history have shot better than 38% from deep and worse than 65% from the line in a season (min 100 attempts on each). Their 3-point shooting percentages regressed by an average of 6 percentage points the following year.

If Brown goes back to shooting low 30's from 3, is he really a star-level talent?

Yeah and that's a credit to the Celtics asset accumulation. I'm very very jealous of the job the Ainge family has done in Boston.

If I'm looking at it from the Grizzlies perspective, they supposedly want to make another run with Gasol/Conley so they really need a wing. Them not hitting the reset button is stupid, in my opinion.

If they had to draft a wing, they'd be looking at either Mikal Bridges, who is older than Jaylen Brown, or MPJ, who probably isn't even a wing and has a bad back and character concerns.

Brown isn't enough for Boston to get to #4 so Memphis could probably also snag Rozier too. That's probably two starters for the Grizz...

Yeah...that is very realistic and it fucking sucks. Bamba on the Celtics is a huge problem.
