2018 NBA Playoffs

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Green just doesn't look like the same player as 2 years ago. He's still great defensively but his lift looks more like his college game then when he was DPOY and a beast on offense. (could be he's getting worn out by the minutes as well but this happened in the regular season as well)

You combine that with Iggy hurt that when you get to see a glimmer in Lebron's eyes. They're going to score but if we can put up points guys like Durant tend to fade and they don't have a lot of depth. Iggy with his defense, running and passing makes them so difficult normally and suddenly it's an a very talented team but not one that operates at that machine like efficiency

Chairman Draymao, to reference his spat with Cuban earlier this season, has looked out of shape much of the year - funny thing is that he posted videos of getting busy with working out so soon after the championship.

His game is so heavily based on athleticism that the late 20s he's at is where decline is realistically going to happen.

How can the Warriors win with only two MVPs in their prime and another all-NBA player?

What an underdog story if they can pull this series out.

They even had to "give up 2 starters" and "much of their bench" from their 73 win team to get one of those MVPs. The agony!

Even if among those "starters," supposedly Shaqtin' McGee/Zaza are also simultaneously better than Uncle Festus/Bogut, so they didn't actually have to give up their starters, or something.

Jesus, this again. Look, we shot 12-44 from 3 in Game 3, a fluky and horrifyingly low percentage for us, while they shot 16-33, a hot percentage, and we were still winning with 50 seconds left in that game. If we win that game, it's 3-2, with every home team winning and Game 6 in Cleveland...we were a Korver 3 from the series being as tight as it could possibly be.

I get not being a homer, but I've seen way too many Cavs fans on this site being subjective not in favor of the Cavs, but AGAINST the Cavs. I've seen people say we still would have lost in 2015 if we had Love and Irving, even though we won 2 games, lost one in OT, and lost 3 others that were 5 point games or less in the 4th qtr, and then simply got exhausted because we had no bench because our bench was starting for injured starters. No objective basketball fan would make that claim...so why are some Cavs fans making that claim? I've seen Cavs fans say we would have lost in 2016 if Draymond played Game 5...the same Draymond that played 6 games in that series, and they went 3-3, meaning the Cavs were just as likely to win when Draymond played as the Warriors were (not to mention Love also missed a game, so that evens things out). And I've seen Cavs fans say we were "annihilated, destroyed, embarrassed" in 2017 even though, as I say above, we were a Korver 3 (or just a "bad" shooting game as opposed to a "horrifying" shooting game) away from that series being as tight as it could possibly be after 5 games (I've also seen Cavs fans say it took an all-time great offensive performance in Game 4 just to beat them once...no, it didn't...we won that game by close to 30, and could have missed 8 or 9 of those threes and not set any records and still beaten them...we didn't set records and beat them by only 1 point...plus we had Game 3 won even though our shooting was horrid).

Excellent summary. I didn't realize Cavs fans were buying into the "BUH TEH DREYMUNZ" bs, when we won game 5 by 15, as well as other points.

Good point about 2017 Game 4, as well - the usual arguments I've seen from non-Cavs fans are that the Cavs only came with the intensity they did because of how game 3 ended, or of course TEH REFS. Those aren't a 20+-point swing! The Warriors didn't look like they belonged on the same court that game!

Fairly massive game for KDs legacy tonight. They should never lose a series. Curry's legacy is already pretty secure. He won w/o KD. He has more MVPs.

Did Reggie suck Curry's dick good enough to revive him from the dead?

Houston should already be up by 10. They are CHOKING. Major, major choking.

I want to see the Warriors start fighting with each other.

Yeah lots of missed opportunities.

Harden is sucking a major, major cock and they're up 9. This game should honest to god almost be over by now with how bad the Warriors have been and how many open shots the Rockets have had.

If they lose this game this will be the quarter to blame.

I came to post exactly that. Good to see them begin knocking down shots. Its only a matter of time before the Warriors wake up.

Early, but man wouldn't it suck if a realistic championship opportunity was available and we gave Kyrie away for crap? Or didn't call Kyrie's bluff/hope him and LeBron work it out.

Sitting in the DC airport about to board a plane home, this dumbass is jumping around saying, “oh man, if Houston wins this game, the LeBron James era would be over and the Golden State era would be over.” I might ask him if he thinks these are 5 game series and if he thinks the Warriors won’t be good next year/LeBron is retiring.
