2018 NBA Playoffs

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Legit question: You're Paul George, eyeing up a max contract and the rest of your career.

You going to Cleveland with 33-34 year old LeBron, signing 1 year deals...or you going to Philadelphia?

Just look at it objectively. He wants to LIVE in LA, he has no connection to Cleveland and the only reason to come here would be to win, right?

So now, what decision you making?

Oh man, he'd be such a great fit in Philly.

He’s not going to Philly that’s for sure.. Unless LeBron goes there too and he joins him there. He either goes to LA cuz that’s where he’s always wanted to play or he comes here in my opinion cuz he wants to play with lebron and lebron wants to play with him. Lebron was recruiting him here and he wanted to come.. before Pacers GM backed out at the last second.. and I think having a disastrous losing season with okc may just make him want to win more and come here with lebron to do it instead of just going to LA where he may want to live and play but knows he won’t win anytime soon.. will see if he wants to win though.

I'd definitely choose Philly, this place is a toxic mess.

Why?

And what I said above is not me saying we are better than Philly and he would be better with us then with them.. i just think he wants to either play in la or with lebron..

I'm just trying to look at this as objectively as possible and I see 33 year old LeBron who only signs 1 year deals or Philadelphia with both of it's best players locked up for a very long time and now I have to decide where I want to sign my max contract...I don't think it's unreasonable to think he'd choose there and not here.

I don’t think he would want to play in Philly.. Unless LeBron went there too. Idk I just have a pretty good feeling it’s either LA so he can live there and get his big max contract and not really care about winning so much.. or here or wherever lebron goes.. I think from losing all the time to lebron that he finally wants to team up with him and try to win with him.. and he’s always kinda looked up to him. They always both have had a lot of respect for each other and the others game. But I have no evidence to back this up besides them wanting to play with each other before he got moved to okc quickly out of nowhere.. just a feeling. Lol so will see what happens.

It's gonna be an interesting off season, I think the Cavs biggest advantage is they have his bird rights and they can possibly make moves to get better. It's just a matter of what LeBron wants, take the money now and still compete(I'm assuming we make moves), or sign with a team like Philly who can also add a guy like George or even Kawhi and still have Embiid and Simmons?

He’d be joining the team, not RCF

Also, toxic messes don’t make the Finals three straight years. Even though most of that is on LeBrons shoulders, true toxic messes result in not even reaching the Finals even as the overwhelming favorite.

This year, w out Kyrie and with so many new guy and zero continuity all year, I’m not even sure we can call ourselves the odds on favorites to reach the Finals from the East anymore. But toxic mess we are not.

Hey I think it would be the smarter move too cuz I think Philly has better potential than us.. I just think it’s LA or team up with lebron.. I mean when he was asking for a trade he ONLY said he wanted to play in LA.. it wasn’t a list of teams.. just LA.. but then we tried to get him and lebron was apparently recruiting him and I was reading that he was “All for it” and even willing to pick up his player option this offseason too to give it a run.. until the thunder swoop in and took a risk on him whether he was one or done with them.. which it’s looking like it will be.

We are definitely a toxic mess this season.

Our second best player requested a trade away from here after three straight finals trips, the players we got in return were questioning teammates' injuries and were traded again because it was that bad in the locker room, Lebron's best friend didn't want to be here anymore, we have vets two games into the playoffs saying they don't know what their role on the team is, players are throwing bowls of soup at their coaches, coaches are telling players they are benched through texting so there's a documented record for potential he-said she-said situations.

Those are off the top of my head. There's more I'm probably not remembering. That's a toxic atmosphere to me.

the west is so tough...
but none of the series have been competitive yet

so overrated

If PG13 wanted to sign and trade here, what are we giving up? What's OKC asking for, hypothetically.

I'm down with trading Love for PG13 if that's the route they take, we'd be keeping our Brooklyn pick and maybe in the mix of some other deals, like bringing a Lillard over. Lillard, George, LeBron could be a sick trio.

Reasons why it makes sense for OKC:

OKC really needs shooters, PG13 isn't your prototypical deadeye floor spacer, Melo will most likely pick up his last true payday and he'll be the SF next year. Adams and Love could be very formidable. Love won't be out of position and Adams could do the banging for him. Its just the match made in heaven for this swap to happen in the Summer.

When you get killed by the Jazz, a roster shakeup is warranted. Especially when it's an unexpected ass whooping. And you had homecourt advantage.

And what was the major change that contributed to 90% of what you just said ??? Altman , Altman , Altman . Danny really screwed up going with the easier very lazy yes man approach .
