2018 NFL SEASON Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It does, teams that win games are going to run the clock out, it's a flawed statistic. Their yards/game are going to be inflated.
OH I SEE YOU WANT DETAILED BREAKDOWNS OF A LIST OF 10 TEAMS YET CITE THE DALLAS COWBOYS AS PROOF WHILE IGNORING THE TEAMS OTHER DEFICIENCIES.

Your just arguing to argue. come back when your ready for a genuine discussion

Edit:

it amuses me that you don't think "running" out the clock is important.

by the same token teams that throw the most are often behind in their games.

also time of possession can impact a defenses performance

You're confusing two separate arguments here. Winning teams run the ball more to run out the clock, so there yardage totals will be higher just because of the value.

The cowboys are committed to the running game and their offense reflects how terrible of an idea that is in 2018.

The Cowboys offense reflects limited and aging player ability outside of a very good running back.

Feel like just having the threat of a Gurley or zeke being able to run on teams helps the offense as a whole. I think the vikings play that game a lot differently if they didn't have to worry about Gurley gaining 7-10 yards each play. I don't necessarily think a bell cow is needed anymore, but the threat of a run game can take pressure of the offense.

not confusing anything at all. Last season the Average margin of victory by more than a touchdown was 6 teams.

Saints, Jacksonville , Rams, Patriots, Vikings were all top 10 in rushing TD's

Falcons, Saints, Eagles Patriots, Jacksonville and the Vikings were all top 10 in rushing first downs.

even the pass happy Steelers averaged over 26 rushes a game with a 6.01 average margin of Victory.

Once again your asserting a conclusion - That's Teams with elite pasing games only run when the game is decided. hasn't been sorted by facts.

nor have you supported the cowboys 1-2 starts as proof that the running game is of marginal impact to win a championship.

just admit there is no factual basis for your theories and move on.

don't try to tell me when what I don't understand. when you are unilaterally dismissing Offensive line blocking and defensive schemes. and how a threat of something can impact game schemes for both sides of the ball in any given game.

Jesus, Tarik Cohen from the bears looks like a child compared to the other players. I though RB's had to be big to play the position?

Josh Allen is literally fucking horrendous

No accuracy at all

Can’t believe I had to answer to him throwing for 196 yards last week lmao

I think he's the second coming of Fitzpatrick. Gonna be games where he looks like the best QB in the NFL and other games where he looks like he doesn't belong in the league. All in all, not gonna amount to much without any consistency.

My god Tampas defense is awful. Trubisky is carving them up and the receivers are wide open on every play. With Mack pummeling the offense Fitz coming back down to earth things aren't looking good for the Bucs.

Or maybe Chicago is, like, way better than people expected.

Trubisky with five touchdowns with another half to go?

I think he’s much more Weeden than Fitzpatrick. He’s fucking brutal.
Like check out that last interception he just threw. He’s clueless and inaccurate.

Not just that, he has the greatest half in Bears modern history.

I think this says a lot about Tampa more than it does Trubisky though. They're dogshit on top of dogshit.
