2018 NFL SEASON Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Must have no confidence against Goff going against this pass rush. Time to take the diaper off him.

Goff should be buying Sean McVay some pretty bitching Christmas presents for the rest of his life, because he's the reason that motherfucker isn't a bust. Dude's gonna make Goff like 100 million dollars.

McVay is just a thousand times better coach than Jason Garrett.

Fuck, pick that bitch, and take it to the house.

Should be no surprised the Rams are going to win this fairly easily though.

Baker has been legit better then every QB in the playoffs so far besides Mahomes... now obviously brees and Brady haven’t played yet

So Talib gets shoved out of bounds and its pass interference on him? What a phantom BS call.

That is the most obvious go for 2 situation and NFL teams routinely botch it.

If you must convert a 2PT to tie, you gotta go for it as soon as possible to leave as much time as possible in case you don't convert.

Gotta pass it here. First down seals the game. To play not to lose and give the Cowboys a chance, would be bad.

Why even run it? I'd take the knee. I know, there's always the wild chance you kick it off and they run it back. I just wouldn't risk a fumble.

They'd get it with about 10 seconds

People rightfully talk about how pre-snap motion and a variety of outlets help the QB because they do and that's the biggest benefit. But, they also let the runningbacks read which way the defense will try and close holes. That gives the RB an advantage. Hence the Rams' win.

If anyone asks why the Rams were able to torch the Cowboys previously amazing run defense then this is the answer. The Rams run a lot of pre-snap movement and pre-decision moment which provides both the QB and RBs information they need to best attack the defense.

Whether he is already on the roster or we need to sign, draft, or trade for a receiver that can be effectively running the ball 2-4 times a game, this may be the best way to take the Browns' offense to the next level. Baker, Chubb, and Duke are all intuitive players who are good at reading the field and capitalizing when they have greater certainty. Adding/finding a receiver or two that can effectively threaten a defense with pre-snap movement will be the best way to constantly achieve this advantage.

We ran a sweep with Landry successfully multiple times this season. I think Callaway can be successful in the run game as well from time to time, given his speed.

Yeah, I tried to make clear that we may have them on the roster. I actually feel similarly about Perriman. I'd like to see us run that type of movement much more frequently, even if they only actually take the handoff twice a game. It allows a smart QB and RB to read enough of the defense that they make the correct decision.

I'd compare Mahomes to Curry but for some reason I strangely like the guy quite a bit better.

I don't get a fake tough guy vibes.

Plus it just feels the guy can actually play ball insanely well and is not running gimmicky bullshit. But the quickness he plays with is on a different level.

I think Jim Kelly is the only one coming to mind and that's mainly due to the success/similarities of the K-Gun offense.

Gonna be interesting to see if any team can come up with a game plan to stop him.

only thing that comes to mind is some sort of Belichick game circa 1990
