2018 NFL SEASON Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Prescott is pretty shitty.

Dude is inaccurate and lacks arm strength, I also saw him miss wide open players a couple of times, as in he didn’t even see them which is a bad sign as far as QB awareness goes.

I wonder how the cowboys would look with a solid QB that can complete downhill throws consistently?

Foles is going to walk into the dome and drop his third leg at the 50; there’s nothing anyone can do.

And go Bolts because I like Joey and Darwin and ffs I just want to see someone different in the AFCG

I don't like it they're going to play zone. Brady will pick that apart.

Gotta play man to man. This isn't Lamar Jackson

Chargers struggle against defending the running back. No one throws to the running backs more than the Pats. This is not a good match up for the Chargers.

These zone coverages aren't going to fool Brady. Play man to man, they don't have the skill players to beat you! If the Chargers don't adjust, this is going to get ugly.

The only silver lining, no Gronk at all on that first drive. I think that was a BS pass interference call in Foxborough.

White is fucking killing them though.

Guys, i've been following the NFL for a few years but only this year i started watching a lot of games (it used to be just the SB). I have a question, and i know it will sound dumb but i always had this question, imagine a player catches the ball at the 30 yard line but is tackled or forced back and downed further back. Which position is taken into account for the next down? Is it always the place where the player goes down or the furthest the player has been even if he came back?

Big throw by Rivers. I don't like to say so early in the game. If he doesn't complete it, game could be over. But giving the ball back to the Pats, and them potentially going up 14-0 isn't exactly a good recipe.

It depends. If he moves backward on his own, that counts. If he's pushed back, that does not.

Gilmore really is that good? He got burnt in Joe Haden fashion. He's always been awful against the double move.

If they can't stop the running game, they have no chance stopping the Pats offense. You don't want Tom Brady off play action.

Chargers got to just keep up until they figure something out. Good news at least is the Pats defense sucks.

Rivers just can't force shit.

I have no idea why the Chargers are still playing a Cover 3. They’ve run the Cover 1 this season and with success. Brady is going to pick apart the Cover 3 easily.

Agree, it's beyond dumb. They're going to lose if they don't change it up.

That last throw by Rivers is what I don't like. Going to take a hit, and makes a high risk throw. Lucky it wasn't picked.

Just so hard playing in this building. It's why I didn't like the Chargers chances at all. Get them away from this building, they're not even good. But in that building they are pretty unbeatable.
