2018 Series #2 | Indians @ Angels | April 2nd, 3rd, and 4th

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Dozed off, did we come back yet ?
Yes, We did! It was amazing! Oh, then I woke up and saw the shit show going on. LOL!! It all good. We are going to have these games just like every team. With that said, it still sucks.

“One hit? We only got one God-damn hit?”

“You can’t say that on RCF!”

“No one is reading anyway!”

Goodnight all!

Looks like I dozed off and missed a dandy of a game.

The early returns on Otero...

In both of Otero's appearances, he has looked great in his first inning. 14 pitches vs. Seattle on Sunday, 10 pitches last night. The second inning is where the wheels have fallen off hard.

Probably nothing more than a coincidence at this point with a 2 game sample, but I guess something to monitor nonetheless.

Win today, win the series, and that shitshow game yesterday means absolutely nothing.

Hope this team gets Kluber some support.

Nice piece of hitting there by Guyer. Love how patient the Tribe hitters are being here.

Skaggs already at 31 pitches with one out.

Always liked Guyer

Damn you Yonder Alonso Gee!!!

Nice at bat by Guyer. A big swinger would either strike out or GIDP there. Case and point Alonso.

So is anyone still a fan of Kipnis anymore? Seems like one of those fan favorites that is getting by just because of that. Guy's hitting around .150 right now.

Some people i've talked to have this stance past couple of years, "Oh don't worry about Kip, he has an off year then he has an on year. He'll find his way." Seems it has regressed to all off-years at this point.

When he's hurt he just can't make it work, but is it possible now he's done?

After 20 at bats he may indeed be done

What are you talking about? "all off years"? He had one bad season.

He was a near all-star year before last, and was hurt last year. I think he's earned the benefit of the doubt that he'll produce this year.

2013: .284/.366/.452, 17 HR, 36 2B, All-Star
2014: .240/.310/.330, 6 HR, 25 2B
2015: .303/.372/.451, 9 HR, 43 2B, All-Star
2016: .275/.343/.469, 23 HR, 41 2B
2017: .232/.291/.414, 12 HR, 25 2B

2017 he was beat up all year and played in only 90 games. The only year where he was relatively healthy and sucked ass for the most part was 2014.

I'd take 2013, 2015, or 2016 out of Kipnis in a heartbeat. Dude straight raked in Spring Training and deserves a fair shake this year if he's healthy.

Kipnis has a higher batting average right now than Jose and Zimmer, and I don't see people clamoring to kick them outta town on April 4th. Give him a bit of a chance.
