Well we could have been they had 1st and 2nd 0 outs in top of 1st because of this dumb play but we got out of it.

Up 4-0 now

SWEEP THE LEG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kipnis trying his best to create big innings with his defense...
There are a few scrubs on the roster and Guyer is one of them
I hope that when we feel confident calling up Zimmer or Allen again, that Guyer can go. At least Davis can play defense. If he's in there to hit lefties and he can't do so what's the purpose?

Lindor and Ramirez are the best duo in baseball
Agreed 100%.

City is truly blessed with two of the best hitters and pitchers in baseball at the same time.

If there's ever a year for Cleveland to win a World Series, its definitely this year. I know 2016 was remarkable, but since then Brantely re-emerged, Frankie and Hosey got better through experience, and our pitching is healthy and is better with Bauer and Clevinger emerging. When postseason strikes, I expect our best, and Bieber better be an option in that bullpen.

Management needs to think long and hard about what they need to do. I hope they shock us.

Machado, trade for a bullpen arm, and the return of Miller would fortifycus as good as team can be. At that point all you can do is play the games and hope you’re team can outwill and outplay the other team for 7 or less games.

Then again, the cost on a Machado rental would be steep. RentIng for three months when he leaves and signs the mammoth contract, do we get the pick compensation still?

I wanna say we had to trade for him at the beginning of season for full compensation, but yeah I imagine the Orioles asking us for something like Mejia or Bieber at the center of a package.

I haven’t come close to getting my hopes up for Machado but as much as the board discusses him, if you’re calling Baltimore for the first time and they say run something by me what do you actually offer?

Hate to derail with trade talk when the team has played so well today; Plutko looked solid and the top of the lineup does its thing.

Hoping we can put Bieber in the pen come playoffs and get Salazar healthy and convert him to the pen and maybe get another pen arm with a healthy Ramirez.. this is the year we can finally win it all

Trading for Machado seems really dumb at this point. He'll have steep offers from teams who can use him much more than we can. Outfield and bullpen may be areas to upgrade, but it'll be better to wait until the deadline and see what we actually need.
