Nothing more to really say about Jose. Did anyone have him pegged as the best player (or second best) in MLB?
Closing in on

Nobody touches Trout in my opinion, but he's definitely up there.

MLB WAR this season (position players only):
Mike Trout - 7.9
Jose Ramirez - 6.8
Mookie Betts - 6.6
Francisco Lindor - 5.9
Matt Chapman - 5.5
Aaron Judge - 5.3
Lorenzo Cain - 4.9
Alex Bregman - 4.7
J.D. Martinez - 4.5

Yeah, only second best I guess!! :D

I'll take having two of the most impactful players in baseball on the left side of the infield.

Trevor Bauer is also at a 4.9 WAR, bested only by Sale, deGrom, Nola, Scherzer, and tied with Kyle Freeland. Kluber is at 4.2, with only Verlander ahead of him besides the previously listed guys.

Basically we've got four of the best players in baseball in Jose, Lindor, Bauer, and Kluber. Need to do everything we can to capitalize on this.

(Clevinger is also T-14th among pitchers in WAR at 3.2, ahead of guys like Berrios, Lester, Paxton, and Syndergaard)

The front office deserves a ton of credit for finding Neil Ramirez and Oliver Perez off the scrap heap. Imagine where we'd be without those two stabilizing our bullpen.

Trout can't get off of the Angels fast enough. Once in a generation ballplayer and he's logged 3 playoff games in 8 seasons.

Yup, I was shitting on them hardcore at the beginning of the year for pretty much wasting a historic starting pitching staff and a pretty damn solid offense most of the time with that shitheap of a bullpen that replaced two consistent performers in Shaw & Smith with old ass Matt Belisle.

Throwing in Perez, Ramirez, Cimber, and Hand along with hopefully a healthy Andrew Miller and Cody Allen with his head on straight with the dominant rotation we have should be just fine come postseason time.

Yep. That's six guys I trust. Hard not to like that.
