Hello, anyone from the old Indians message boards on MLB.com? It got shut down randomly and I'm wondering where everyone went. This board looks as good as any so I plan to come around occasionally.

Let me end by saying this.....if Tomlin was pitching against us we'd be lucky to hit 1 or 2 HRs.

I’m convinced that Tomlin wouldn’t even be able to strike out high school batters with that blistering 85 mph fastball of his.

I would rather watch Ryan Merrit come up from the minors and throw soft toss instead of Tomlin. This is fucking ridiculous anymore.

Be careful what you wish for. Tomlin hasn't really lost any velocity and he's been a serviceable #5 with what he's given us the last 2 years. But god this is ugly. 8 HRs in 12.2 IP.

Stanton, Judge, and Sanchez would combine for 6 homers.

EDIT: I like the guy, a lot. He's a good dude and he's been with us for a long ass time. His time has just come. No shame in it - a lot of guys don't make it until age 33 in the big leagues.

I appreciate all he’s done - there have definitely been worse regular rotation pitchers in the majors since he started his career.

He’s just not reliable anymore. Way too susceptible to giving up the long ball. At this point he is hurting the team more than he’s helping.
